I know how to make American style(NFL,NBA,MLB,etc.) player trading work without cheating: restrict trading to within your own league. (This has NOTHING to do with the TL, or transferring players. I think tahtg the TL can still work alongside trading.)
I'll use myself as an example. I am in USA IV.57. I can only trade with other teams in USA IV.57. I can not trade with any team not in my own league. Cheaters who try to take advantage of trading by multi account can not trade with their other team because when you create a new team, the new team is going to be in another league, that is not your own. It's is very unlikely(if not impossible) for a player to have two teams in the same league.

Another way is to allow overseas trading.
I'll again use myself as an example. I play in the USA. I can not trade with other USA teams. I can only trade with foreign teams. I can trade with a Spanish team , a Canadian team, an Italian team, a Brazilian team, etc. Cheaters who try to take advantage of trading by multi account can not trade with their other team because when you create a new team it will still be in their country. Unless they cross the boarder to go to a new country just to cheat in a computer game, and that's just pathetic.

wasn't their in past the action to invite teams into your league?(maybe thats hattrick, i am not sure if it was here)

Especially in small countrys, it isn't impossible that you end up in the same league.

Also it is very likely that you etablish friendship with an league mate, who maybe do a favour before he quits.

So i won't say that it is safe, and also the restriction make it not very useful.

PS: many cheaters try to get oversea account, because they look more innocent on the first sight.

I would never ever trade one of my players to sb. else in my league unless I wanted to cheat.

The whole BB-world is not built for a trading system anyway, and if you want you can sell a player to team X and then buy your desired player from team x anyway.

I dont know if you would get in trouble by swapping players on the transfer market for money way above the TPE. After all you dont gain anything in addition from the sale (if we assume you "trade" equal players).

I was offered player trades a couple of times (selling both above fair market value to ensure no one disturbs the transaction), although I have never done such a transaction I guess it happens from time to time.

I'm not really getting this statement. If you want to cheat how would you achieve that by trading with other teams in the Österreich Bundesliga?

Not really, often some other random BB user intercedes and the "trade" process doesn't go smoothly. I think that a trade system that I suggested could coexist with the transfer system and help out BB.

In my view, this suggests that your valuation of the trade didn't meet the overall market value for the player(s). Hence, if it had gone through, you'd be advantaging yourself (and the other trade partner) at the expense of all other teams in BB.

No I was talking to Knecht about "you can sell a player to team X and then buy your desired player from team x anyway" and how that usually doesn't work.
If you trade with your league mates, then you won't be making unbalanced trades.

There was a trade in the early seasons of this game between 2 league mates.... although I must stress this was all conspiracy theory on my behalf and I add a disclaimer to this message saying that my definition of trade is very different to that of what you are describing or promoting the idea of.

In no way shape or form should 2 teams be allowed to manipulate the market for their own personal gain. I know your trade idea doesn't necessarily suggest this but the transfer market works well enough as it is why fix it?

PS. When can we have a kit creator :D

PPS. When will a salary cap be introduced (more so i don't keep spending my money!)

Both the above were discussed in person at an executive breakfast meeting this morning between Thailands and Japans most decorated club managers. We feel that we represented the best interest of the 55,000 + members and we are sure you will enjoy the upcoming changes!
