You can bring cases if you like, I was simply stating that the quoted reason for not building more seats is not valid. I am quite indifferent about the suggestion (I am not really for or against), since I find the arena part of the game fairly uninteresting. May I add that adding a feature for changing seat types would not make it any more interesting.

Actually, there is one simple way to make it slightly more interesting (at least by giving a real tactical, if limited choice):

Keep the building new seats feature/pricing as is. Introduce a feature to change seat types, where the change operation costs the difference of the two seat types (or slightly less), which takes as much time as building that amount of seats from scratch, and where those seats are out of use for the duration of the work. This way you can balance some small cost saving vs. lost income from seats that cannot be used.

It's smarter to build extra seats, instead of converting one seat to another. Why? When building new seats you can use the old ones and you can when not badly over 20k you can always use a few more seats.
+ It sounds so illogical to change luxury boxes to coutside seats. Adding some seats to already build arena I can deal with, as there might be room for seats that are not yet installed.
Nice to see you throwing out "facts" again about things you have no idea about. Will you eventually stop doing that?

Well, that was what I've suggested basically...
I wrote that a fee will be needed to be payed for this change.

Building a luxury seat cost 1600$, bleachers cost 200$. You can convert one Luxury seat into 8 bleachers if you find the change worth it (including the fee).
For example, when you have 0 seats unseated for bleachers and the luxury seates are all empty.
Yes, you can change it twice a season, but you cannot update during that period (although you can add seats).

Summarizing - When you'll get out of the box you are keep thinking from and will learn to discuss (and to think) instead of attacking , you will be more productive.

That´s too cheap. I´d like to have a simple "demolish" option at the end of a season, where you can remove seats for a buck a piece without any further refunding. Like that, you can still "rebuild" your arena so that it suit your needs, but don´t make seat-types interchangeable for free (or basically for free, if you only have to pay the difference), or you remove another managing task.

You cannot simply upgrade seats "under the roof" of an arena to "courtside seats" by paying some money, they will always remain "under the roof".

A seat upgraded should be more expensive as if it was built for the final purpose right from the start.

Okay, I did not see you mentioning that the seats could not be used while the conversion is made and that the upgrade would take the same time as building new seats. The key point is introducing some sort of a trade-off, so that the feature would have a game play effect. A new feature needs to add to the game play or to the fun. Failing that, all you get is clutter.

I wrote more than once - changing seat's type will cost a fee (in addition to the difference of seat's type value).

Let's continue and finish the definition of this feature;

Definition:
"A seat can be upgraded (or downgraded) upon paying the diffefrence between the two types, and an additional fee".
"One cannot can get money due to this difference".
"Changing type of a seat may take time, and will not be immediate".

Is this agreeable?

Do you know that there is a cap for two types of seats?
