Stamina drops have nothing to do with the amount of minutes played.
So you are saying that if player A plays five seasons, 70 min/week and player B also plays five seasons, 0 min/week, their Stamina will drop equally?
I always thought stamina drops more if you play your player more...
Hm, now that I think of it, actually the opposite would be true - since a player doesn't play, his physical preparation suffers.
Yes that's what I said. I don't have any proof for it except that the stamina drops are generally called "random" and I haven't noticed anything different on my own players so far.
Anyway, your assumption "player plays less so he should lose stamina quicker" could make sense in real life but I guess it's different here.
The first reference I've found just now is the FAQ saying
"My player had a drop in stamina. Why?”
All players will experience random drops of stamina throughout their careers (generally one per season). This cannot be avoided and has nothing to do with game shape or training or the number of minutes played. You can always train stamina back up if you wish.
