I pick Boston. I think they will do everything to have homecourt advantage during the playoffs. The shortened season favours them because they are an old team; rest won't be as much of an issue. I expect Ray Allen to have been practising like crazy during the lockout because he's a true professional. Rondo will dominate all other Atlantic Divison PG's without question.
They're a little bit weak at the center position, but there isn't much competition in the Atlantic either.

My heart goes to Toronto but my head picks Boston. (Just wait for Jonas Valanciunas to arrive in the NBA)


Ummm... the shortened season includes lots of back-to-backs, and a few back-to-back-to-backs. It definitely doesn't favour "older teams". The only advantage there is that I think vet teams are more likely to be able to put last night's games behind them. Hey, it's a slight advantage. Slight.
