Wow, Kahlon is pretty damn good for U-21, but that's what you get when you mostly train primaries.

I took the slow route with Wuyts -- who, with the same potential, will be a better PF than Kahlon at the end of training. With that salary, there is no way someone will play Kahlon out of position to train his secondaries.

Its true and the longer term strategy will get you a much better player for longer that you can rely on down low. Plus (i would imagine) there is nothing better than getting your player called up to the NT.

While Kahlon secondaries aren't NT ready(he's also SS potential) they are much better than Austin.

Edit: Primaries also aren't that close to what Austin had... If only they'd been 21 at the same time:(

Quite. Kahlon is SS potential, I though we agreed SS potential big men might as well be U21 beasts as they won't add much to the NT roster. He's not Austin MK II, or Cubby MK III.

I agree that SS won't cut it as a starting big man on the National Team, but a well-balanced Power Forward that reaches his Superstar potential could play a SF/PF hybrid role as a SF during some of the games when playing LI (or, better yet, LP), and a backup PF the other times.

That's what I'm training for, and I think Wuyts will play the above role.

True, I've got one of those as well.

Kahlon needs one on one forward training now though. He must not train any more inside skills if he's going to stand a chance of developing his guard skills. But at 7ft, I don't fancy his chances too much.

Down to only seasons 6/7 to add and wow I don't think anyone will ever break Costabile's scoring or stealing records. Those are the first I've seen that look truly unbreakable.

All done, whew, after the end of this season we'll be holding the first ever English U21 HOF elections, so start thinking about who deserves to be part of the opening class.

(Doing it after the season so "the beefcake" can be included.
