the thread start make the thesis that the c just do it currently, i never looked so much for it. Also i don't think he primary defends the high post.

Not really watch out so much for it, but i remember him defending midrange jumpers quite often(not sure if central or baseline).

Really, I'm being too much emphatic than how I wanna be with this theme. I don't really use the 2-3 because don't work correctly, or it's to much difficult to use properly than the 3-2 for example. Only try to be open-mind because this theme is "trending topic" in BB forums since much time ago... and I only suggest the implementation of a new tactic or the correct of old 2-3. In all cases, thanks for read and write. Greetings.

for me it had work, and i doesn't have those blocking moster but quite nice OD at the bigs, which might be the other key then blocking for it(i even think OD is quite good for big also in man to man).

The downside of this tactic is, that it is definately not working when the opposition isn't playing inside while a 3-2 Zone isn't good against an inside attack but at least didn't screw you.

Syracuse 2-3 Zone.

(one side) SF pops out to defend perimeter when needed.

(other side) PF stays closer to basket, G slides to wing when necessary. other G and SF rotate over and out.

(middle) C protects basket.

You just use the wrong players if 2-3 wont work for you.

Syracuse plays a 2-3 thats long enough to where it functions almost as a hybrid 3-2.

The problem with the 2-1-2 as you called it, is the corners and baselines. the 2-3 gives up that mid-range jumper because its a low percentage shot, particularly at the NCAA level, in exchange for traps and contested shots in the corner.
