In the ABBL draft last season there were no players with potential better than pallstar at all. It is just luck.

With 4 star skills, he's gonna have $3500-4000.

Actually between 3000-3500 so not that great.

Id go and scout 4 other guys left in the draft. Prety sure youll find one better than this.
Btw draft in my league is just pathetic, only 17 18 year old and rest 19 year olds ones... so even if i spent not so much on scouting i will be still able to scout all of them till the draft:)

Not to change the topic, but isn't like a guessing game of what position they are. I want to find a PG but every time I scout and select the player, I'm always unlucky and don't get the PG, and when I do, I get 1-2 ball prospects.

It probably takes five seasons in order to finally find that star.

Draft sg and make him into pg?:D my top trainee had started with atrocious driving, inept OD and atrocious passing. Now he is 7/14/10 in those skills:D 72 skillpoints only at age of 20 but still, not so bad.

Good. This is still my first season, and I don't know what to do for drafting. The only good prospect I got is a PF-and I already have a good combo at that position. The position I need the most is PG. SG-got a trainee C-got a trainee PG-got people that will last for a while, but You can't rely on them forever. PF-Good cobmo with a vet that can last about 5 seasons. SF- My strongest position with a talented trainee and a GOOD VET.

more

i spent $20k/week every season but 1 when i spent $10k/week & after all that i never got someone remotely trainable until 2 seasons ago i got a 3k pallstar & now this season i got a $2,900 mvp

most wouldnt even think they r worth training but it is so close to impossible to draft a good player that u just gotta take what u get

all those saying yeah just go out & draft a 5/5 with great skills dont know how hard it is

some people get dumb luck & can draft a star without even scouting, others try & try & never get lucky

after spending 20k/week for 8 seasons somewhere around $2 million spent on scouting i have found a 3 ball 5 potential guy worth 50k

Well, I guess there's like a 2% chance of me getting dumb luck.(1 out of 48 chance). There's always next seasons. Isn't there like 3 seasons per year. Right?- Winter/Spring- Late Spring and Summer- And Fall/Early Winter (In Northern Hemisphere)

Who wants to make this a global thread? ROOKIES well, I think this will eventually come big as the draft nears.... but it can draw attention. This thread has turned more talk than help. (now)
