I disagree about the "you can´t blame them" part. Strongly disagree.

It might help to get a "projected financial development" feature though, which gives you the estimates of your financial development over the course of a season at any point (you might want to add the value for your arena incomes manually), so that the minor league teams stop running out of money all the time.

Otoh, teams going bankrupt actually ADD money to the overall economical circle (as their debt gets erased), so I doubt less team running out of money is going to fix the prices for the top league players.

Zwei Dinge sind unendlich, die Dummheit und das All...

they can count to 4x-200k.. thats 800k in 4 weeks a financial projection might be good but only if you make restrictions.. when buzzerbeater tells you in 4 weeks youll have at best earned 1mio then you should not be able to buy a player that earns 250k a week..i bet half of the people signing up for bb do not yet care if they go bankrupt.. they only check out another browser game

the plan is not to let new users go bankrupt and leave em like "omg buzzerbeater.. what a crap.. the best players are so cheap i can get em but they earn more salary a week than you paid for him" if im new to a game and see the best players cost the least, i wont be excited about the game.

its gotta be "hell yea buzzerbeater is the best ill get all my friends to sign up"
it has been that way and i hope when the first full generation goes to retirement the game will be somehow balanced.

A better question to ask would probably be if these fans of your team want to buy shirts of the best player, or the player with the highest salary? Often this doesn't go hand in hand.

Then the next question to answer would be if it's viable to see 3rd or lower division teams full of the best players in the world. I'm not sure if Lebron would want to go play in for example the Dutch 1st Division of Basketball instead of the NBA

Or you can't be below 10k ranking or so and so for example if you want to have a 250k or so and so salary player (just example, maybe someone can work out a fair figure). This will kill most farm teams and make them send death threats to me if this ever gets implemented...

it would be cool if players would say omg you play in the 3rd league of germany (no offense) i would never join your team. but as long as players can easily be trained to be a 300k salary guy within 5 seasons it will happen at least at farm teams for the NT... so it somehow has to be restricted or teams need more money.. if there are 1000 200k players then there should be 1000 teams that can afford them easily and start a bid war for them on the list.. its ridiculous that players who are not even half as good as the top players sell for 3x the money

The problem here lies within the salary formula. The "best" players should be balanced SFs with a high sum of skills and yet those would earn probably half the money of the "best" C's in this game.

Yeah one could almost believe the BB's wants us to create well rounded players instead of mono skilled beasts ^^

Where would you come up with that? I mean, if they wanted us to trained balanced players, they'd have training speeds slowed down on skills when they're way above other skills, or have training affect multiple skills at the same time.

Oh. ;)

No reason to get more skills with no additional cost.

One solution is to give the users a meaning to limit training to a point upon future salary.
For example - one who will ask to train a specific player up to 20K$ of salary will see that player not improving when reaching that point. A notification may be added to the training page at the end of that week.

The problem with centers is that it almost makes no sense of training them in range, passing, outside defense... because its either unnecessary or extremely slow to train.

If those "well rounded" players were that superior to monoskillers we would see more of them, so I guess either the users are idiots, or the upside of a couple of skillups in tertiary skills is marginal at best.

As I said before, we cant field five LaBrons...
