We need to get rid of Morris', Bonkins' and Donatus' crappy contracts fast. Good thing we still have 3 months of offseason left.

hhhmmm, Mirris' brother is doing better than him! I think the Rockets said "They want to get Morris up slowly" same with Donatus. Bonkins was just an effort to get to the PO. I think they should pput Lamb & T. Jones in the D-League for 1 season. Then get em up to the NBA fast. Trade White somewhere else, don't like him at all. They should've gotten Zeller.

It looks like The Nets have seemed to pick up an all-star SG in Joe Johnson to help make Deron Williams want to stay and the Nets kept their best rookie and basically sent Atlanta 2 trash players, 2 below average players and a future first round pick...

Johnson earn 90 Mio in the next four year, i believe the biggest contract in the NBA. This dude must be awesome, oh wait he is not even close to the best of his position.

For me that would be a no go for williams to stay, only when he goes only for the title and sign and minimum contract. Cause if he stay, they both nearly fill up the cap space giving up the pick also reduce the chanche to get cheap and good backups.

I don't think the Hawks are done making trades, because I don't see how it would work with Harris and Teague there, with both being decent starting point guards that don't play shooting guard. I think the trades were a good move for the Hawks, because they had been caught in that zone where they weren't good enough to contend for a title, but not bad enough to get a good draft pick, so they needed to do something, and this is a good start to rebuilding the team. They still have a very good front court with Horford and Smith that they can build around, they just need them to stay healthy.

No.

The Raptors are crazy for offering Steve Nash 12 million a year when they already have Jose Calderon...

Williams is staying and reports are that the Nets are now speaking to Orlando about Howard. Johnson may be the bait for a Brooklyn-Orlando deal.

the bait would be the players, Orlando have to give him away when they want something back. But currently i don't see a better deal then the rumored offer from Houston from the Nets. Especially since they need to overpay to make the offer possible, when i see it right.

And even then:
Williams 20 Mio +Johnson 22 Mio + Howard 20 Mio + and probadly Wallace 10 Mio = 72 Mio for four players and imho with a lower quality then the Heat, who didn't have an easy way to the title. Basically no bench, which mean higher injury risk, even when i like the Howard Williams combo, but i don't like the Johnson Williams Combo so much since both need the ball in there hands but Hopefully william get it most times.

I meant that now that Williams re-signed, the Joe Johnson deal can be approved. Once that deal is approved, the Nets can deal Johnson to Orlando in a package for Howard. The problem wasn't money (although I agree that that is WAY too much for those four players), at least now Brooklyn has something of value to send to Orlando since they lost everything in the trade for Wallace.

I'm fully expecting to see Wallace and Johnson (and other considerations, most likely to include lots of money) sent to Orlando even though I believe the Rockets offer the better deal for the Magic as well.

I believe including Johnson is impossible, when there is no 3 team trade also i doubt Orlando want him as a Centerpiece for the post Howard time(imho he is to expensive and to bad to be good, and to good to be bad for early pick). Also Atlanta want to fight for Howard to, and kicked Johnson of for that i think that shows that Orlando don't want him that bad.

The rumors say the net offer Brooks, Lopez, Humpries and first round picks of 2013,2015 and 2017. Imho paying 70 millions for just three players and basically have "no" bench left and few draft pick wouldn't be a good move.

All good points, but people also said the Heat gambling their futures on 3 players and no bench wouldn't work. Honestly, if they could keep all 4, and build a semi-credible bench, they probably wouldn't have the cap space to sign or retain those future draft picks anyway. This looks like an all or nothing strategy... worked for the Celtics and Heat.

Also, this could be the set up for Howard to come to Brooklyn for 2013-14 once he's unrestricted.
