I would go with a Normal. I don't have the time to look at your team and his, but I'd still Normal. I would compare it a Normal on 11 ENTH to a CT at 7-8 ENTH.

Why? CTing early in the season gives you plenty of time to build it back up by playoff time. CTing after the all-star break is what you want to avoid if you have any shot at the playoffs. At least that is how I see things.

Well, I am in a somewhat competitive league, so I don't like to CT.

If you CT'd, there is a fair chance that you would have won. However, CT'ing early in the regular season is something you never want to do.

Actually the opposite it true. If you're going to crunch, do it early in the season when you have cup games and a full season to quickly rebuild eth.

But never, ever crunch the last handful of games before the playoffs.

Check my last cup win. All thanks to ct. Had no chance otherwise. Check my record. You can still be competitive and ct when it's early in the season.

Your league looks a bit easier, so to me it seems that you might be less effected after CT, in terms of on-court performance. I feel I would get crushed in my league after I CT someone.

Why are you criticizing him because of his division? I'm not in D5 and yet I told you the exact same thing that he did he a previous post. So are you saying that sure that advice might work in D5 and D1 but not in D4? That's a little ridiculous obviously.

Sometimes it's good to open your mind to the different ideas that are tossed around on this forum instead of criticizing the source simply because he's in a lower division than you. Playing TIE early and often to maximize your enthusiasm is a very smart move on your part but that doesn't mean that there's not a time and a place to use crunch as well.

You are in D5, and your league looks semi-active, so you can make the case that you can CT. I, on the other hand, might get crushed in following league games for a bit.

Well in addition to what Beener said...

I'll gladly point out as well, that while you sit here and criticize me because of my league, and underestimate me, the d.iv team I beat is a better team than yours and a guy ranked over 400 spots better in the USA than yourself.

So yeah you could sit on your pedestal and judge down upon me, but pedestals are easily toppled.
