owch :/
I was worried when i looked at my line up whose highest salary was 14k, the rest 3-5k (3k centre at PG) and then decided to put Gascoigne in, risking that my coach would play him a lot longer than i asked. And he did :<. At least were in the cup, but Gascoigne's GS will be wrecked for weeks !
I should have left some space for one of my big boys to play but our league is so so competitive!

You are right, it's a risk I decided to take for several reasons ( training and GS mainly). It wasn't an easy rival for a first tournament round and I opted for trying to win my league matches. Let's see what the outcome is..... If I don't avoid the relegation play-offs, I'll go down.
All the best,

PS. I'll boost my enthusiasm when I play you.

Thanks Morwood for the great analysis!

I know A Dogs to be a consistently tough cup draw, so I planned accordingly and rested some of my starts in league play this week. A Dogs didn't, but I'm not convinced they aren't just going to shoot themselves in the foot and sacrifice game shape to try and win. As for me, I'm looking for the best of both worlds -- staying in the cup as long as possible, whilst still winning my league. Considering the quality at the top of my league, I'm pretty sure I'll need to remain undefeated (or, at most, one loss) to keep home court advantage in the finals.
