Me too. GDP has added lot of variance to used offensive tactics at least in our D.1

I voted "yes, it's awesome".

I also agree with managers bashing you.

I voted "I don't care".

I think your issue this year vs. last year is that you're not in DV anymore.

I love the GDP, not for the part of me guessing my opponents but more for the fact that I am able to keep my opponents off guard for when they guess on me...the penalty against them is greater so don't hate the system...it helps create more wins if you can at least run two separate type offenses.

When I built my team, my goal is to have a balance, fast pace team. That is why I always play with push the ball. Now with GDP, I cannot do this anymore. Or I will always play with the penalty of my opponents always using GDP against me. I really cant understand that they implemented the rule that penalize teams that uses its own tactic.

You lost 3 times out 5 (more than 2) without a GDP predictions by your opponent. So you will not "always" have the penalty of the GDP against you. One of them even got the GDP wrong while you always use PTB.

GDP is not the sole responsible of you losing then, altough that is indeed there to stop teams to always use one tactic. You can do it, but that is logical that other can adapt to it. Have very good players, created for PTB and you will still win even if your opponent guess right. But thinking that IRL, managers aren't adapting depending on how the other team is playing is strange.

I think he has a point, though - he will probably suffer against really good managers, but fortunately he's got a way to go before displaying enough talent to earn a spot facing better managers.

I think GDP has been created just to avoid to see tons of teams using the same tactic, that usually for the strongest teams is LI. If you've a balance team you can use all the tactics not the same one.

Push The Ball is a lackluster offence, GDP aside. Stop using it and have more faith in your teams ability to play the other offences. Remember that all balanced offences that aren't Patient suck, and don't rely too much on any one tactic so that you don't get caught out by the GDP again. This will allow you to stop complaining and start winning.

You can still focus for one tactic.
- GDP will only balance situation compared to teams who has selected that they want to use two or more offense tactics. Otherwise those managers should be yelling in the forum that this is not fair. No one can compete against monoskilled teams who have only one offense. Why only your selection to use one tactic should be better than those who love more than just one offense?
- You must now be just a little better than earlier. And it is easy. If you focus just for one offense, your training is much easier than teams who are focusing for several offense tactics. You can neglect some skills and focus for only needed skills.
- GDP is not turning results dramatically, you should do some research before you are making strong statements in the forum. Some novice players might even believe you!

I believed the power of gdp from the start. Good quess is mots+hca advantage, or in normal terms +25-30 points. Id better play tie away against mots with no gdp than mots at home with tie and gdp

good gdp can give you chances to win against teams which you have never dreamed winning about.

People say good quess gives 1 rating but i have had games this season which it gave over 3 defensive ratings.

Gdp overpowered.
