But it's rather curious, he had the 16th, 32nd and 48th pick. Spent a lot of money to nail the 5 ball guys. Those players you listed were picked at 15, 26 and 31. He could at least have landed 1 with the 16th pick. One possible conclusion I can derive from this is that he never had the 26th and 31st picks in his radar, and that his primary target was the one chosen 15th (but he missed out on him because he had the 16th pick).
There was at least one more four ball potential guard I think that I found, but his skills seemed lower. And it could be that he had 19 year olds instead of 18. I kind of went through the league quickly and really only made sure it was the right draft year.
