what is about autobid that you are so obsessed about.. .. . . .


Happy times when you just want to buy that single player and the auction ends in the middle of the night. Could be a nice prospect you were looking for or a NT player that could give you a decent Merchandise Bonus.

I once got up at 3 a.m. only to fight a 30 minute bidwar for an austrian NT player. Although some might admire my dedication, an autobid function would have been very much appreciated by me back then.

Although some might admire my dedication, an autobid function would have been very much appreciated by me back then.

Why would that have happened?

Why would that have happened?

You couldn't have anticipated a vigorous bidding war, and wouldn't have thrown enough money at him far before the deadline. It would have seemed totally wasteful and irresponsible.

That sort of behavior -- totally wasteful and irresponsible -- is what autobid is all about, although you will never get an autobid advocate to admit it ... ("but I only bid as much as I am willing to spend")

I could because that Player was a rare build back in the days, thats why I had to get up and get him. I got him for cheap and the autobid amount would of done the same - but much more conveniently.
