I messaged his manager to put him on the transfer list as he wasn't trained. I didn't want to waste a potential U21 player especially an inside based player. As long as he is sold and trained, I don't mind where he goes.

We have a good number of Guards/Forwards but we lack of inside players in terms of depths. The players in the team are good but there are no players to replace them. When Aganit Sadagopan was injured, I was a bit sceptical and then, I noticed that I forgot Nicholas Anak Jugah who was the best player in the last game. It's easy for me to make the team but that's not the point.

I have been silent for some time but there weren't much to report, we won the easy game we should have won. Our next game against a strong Belgium will be the most important game of the season, if we manage to upset them, we may have a chance to qualify, if not... we may finish our season after the game against Scotland. I expect a good game shape from all our players to be at our best and proudly wear Malaysian jerseys.

Let's be honest, Belgium looks better, some players can even speak French which is a proof of greatness according to some French people. The game will also be very important for them, they already lost 2 games and can afford to lose a third one. There most recent lost was against Hong-Kong by 12.

A last word about 2 19yo players on the market:
Godfrey Zadeh (36528398) has a limited potential but due the lack of depth we have on inside players, he will most probably be in the NT by 21 if he is trained. An All-Star potential player can be a good Malaysian DII player if he reaches his full potential by age 21/22.
Alan Chin (36528364) is more of a forward, his skillset is not the best but he could be turned into a decent player within 2 seasons. A good addition if you're looking to add one more trainee to your team.

Thanks, it was a lucky win with 2 3-pointers and 2 FT in the last 30 seconds. I should proudly represent Malaysia in B3 last 32 round.

As for the 2 players on the transfer list, I value the inside player more because of what we had in the past seasons: a lot of talented balanced forwards but only a few skilled big men. There are so many high potential players who never reach anything near their full potential that I don't mind having lower potential players in the U21.

Yes, nice big win! I was hoping for it but not by such a big margin, even tough the tactics were good (not great), I believe we got a bit lucky but our talented players did the job they had to. Thanks to this win, our Malaysia U21 NT is in the world top30, ranked #28. It's simply the best ranking ever. 10 seasons ago, we were ranked #29, our previous best. With this win, our U21 NT just wrote its own legend! And it could get even better if we win next game.

However, all this is meaningless if we don't qualify for next round and we still have 3 places to gain to be in the best 32. It's possible but a win can't guarantee us to qualify and the win isn't guaranteed as Scotland has some strengths which could disrupt our fine game.

Let's play our best basketball, let's beat Scotland, let's raise in the world ranking, let's qualify for next round, let's surprise everybody, let's us be Malaysia! Hidup Malaysia!

We beat Scotland by 31! We may qualify for the Knockout Stage but we have to wait for the last games to be certain of it. It will be a close call and I don't want us to end up being #33, anything but #33.

Edit: Andorra has lost and Bulgaria is going to lose against Russia, that's already 2 teams behind us. Some games are going to start really soon and we will know what happens to Malaysia in a few hours.

Edit2: Croatia is not so well, Morocco is playing a close game, here are two more teams we may pass.

Edit3: Some games are finished, we will qualify! We should be at worst #30, whatever our final rank is, we will have a very very complicated game ahead of us.

Thanks! Portugal has some strong inside players, however, Philippines seems to have more depth. Despite your 3 injured players, I think you can beat them.

In a more general way, I find that Asian teams did quite well so far, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Iran, New-Zealand, Malaysia and Hong Kong, we all qualify for the Knockout Stage. I'm especially impressed by what Singapore does, being ranked #12 with so few users playing the game, that's incredible!

As for us, Germany is almost unbeatable, we may not stand a chance but we will fight hard and try to get the best possible result. Hidup Malaysia!
