I've been in training mode the last season and a half, plus I bo a new trainer so that took a lot of cash and I still blame my fine for not promoting... I'll have to see what I can do on the transfer market, so we'll see how this works out.

I Believe- Good call! Didn't even notice that. That's not going to be fun when it comes to playoffs....great....

Condors- Besides the strength of the rest of the division, I'm not sure how you don't win more game. You have a decent roster that in a normal League IV would have at least 11 wins.

Team Turn Up- You got hosed. No doubt about it you got absolutely hosed. The Mercy Buckets and you are going to be fighting for that four spot all year long its going to be fun to watch.

(PS if any of you have friends playing in Pakistan, then tell them to vote for Evan Janssen for their U21 team. Would greatly appreciate it)

Yeah great write-up well done. Your predictions are pretty good, our division is strong this year. I haven't quite figured out my point guard situation. I have never tried training guards before, its okay but bigs are easier. OD is so expensive these days. Lest we forget, I had the league MVP, but he wasn't able to close out against Fleck etc.

good season everyone

Tell me about it...I don't get why my team doesn't win more. I have a great passing PG, and one of the best interior players in the entire league.
But I drafted really well, so I think I may be able to turn my two studs into killers. 7'5" perennial all-star and a 6'6" potential scoring machine with MVP potential. I can't win this season, but I should avoid relegation again, and then I'll be able to push for the playoffs next season.

yeah i didn't actually mean to pour 700k into a player I could have had for 3-400. Hopefully I don't get fined!

I played a few years ago but life got in the way. I hoped to wind up in a bot league, play TIE for a season and train then go from there, but it looks like this league is quite active. Nice article on the predictions. My roster is pretty weak IMO so il probably be at the bottom of the league this season but will hopefully make a turnaround. Look forward to a fun season w you all

Glad to have you. This league has a strong core that unfortunately continues to remain here, so it's a really hard considering it's D IV.

I'm ok with that. I blew thru D4 and D3 in both leagues my first time round. It wasn't much fun and doesn't prepare you for D2 at all. I just wanna have fun.

As the opening whistle was blown last night, the Great 8 began play in what promises to be a less than thrilling season! While the Big 8 may finally have some competition in interleague play, they will remain the favorites in most matchups.

Bucks: The Bucks made their first playoff appearance in IV.11 last season since coming over in 31. Led by Laterreur, the Bucks will have a tough task in interleague play but should hold their own in several conference matchups. The roster is full of young talent that, with the proper training can develop into a talented group.
Total Great 8 Record: Unavailable. Playoff Appearances 1
Prediction: 9-17 5th Place

Machete Kills : A roster full of young potential should provide a strong showing for Machete Kills this season. Having one of the highest salaries in the conference but middle of the road in interleague play, the Machete's should reach the playoffs for the third straight season in IV.11. Aside from interleague and an occasional conference matchup, the biggest challenge the Machetes will see this year is fighting over which player will get the bulk of training minutes.
Total Great 8 Record: Unavailable. Playoff Appearances 2
Prediction 15-7 2nd Place

Morgantown Mad Dogs: After a D.III relegation the Mad Dogs may be the new kids on block but nothing about them should be overlooked. The Mad Dogs have an impressive 80% winning percentage in National Tournament play and bring a roster of absolute Monsters into IV.11. Led by a stellar starting 5 the Dogs will likely waste no time dismantling league foes and give the Big 8 a real challenge in interleague battle.
Total Great 8 Record: Unavailable. Playoff Record: 35-20 63%
Prediction: 21-1 1st Place

PERP216 (The Force): Entering their inaugural season in BB after a stint away the Force looks to make a splash in IV.11. A subpar roster will need some reinforcements through the market and hope for some quick improvement from their advanced training staff. The gameplan set forth by Perp should provide some excitement for seasons to come.
Total Great 8 Record: 1st Season. Playoff Appearances (N/A)
Prediction 4-18 7th Place

The Poros: The Poros have been the epitome of average since joining IV.11 in season 32. With two consecutive 5th place finishes, the Poros hope to improve and pop their playoff cherry in IV. The foreign born players should provide enough punch to provide a tough matchup against lesser foes as the US players fill roles and receive training and continued improvement.
Total Great 8 Record: Unavailable. Playoff Appearances 0
Prediction: 14-8 4th Place

Southtown Sentinels: The Sentinels are one of 2 new franchises to BB this season and one of 4 teams new to the Great 8. The Sentinels host a pair of 7 footers amongst a mix of age and talent. It will be a tough go for the Sentinels barring some roster moves after the GM review time is finished.
Total Great 8 Record: First Season. Playoff Appearances (N/A)
Prediction 6-16 6th Place

The Spartans: Coming over after IV.23 relegation, the Spartans will likely do enough to battle to avoid relegation but not much more. Unless this team sees some transfers during Season 34 this may be a brief stint in IV.11 for the Spartans. Fortunately they arent the only team that looks to be underwhelming underdogs in most matchups and the battle to avoid relegation from the Great 8 will be strong.
Total Great 8 Record: First Season. Playoff Appearances (N/A)
3-19 8th Place

Tartans: The Tartans will provide a challenge in most of their matchups this season as they look to make the playoffs once again, as they have each season since coming to IV.11 The roster as it is should be enough to make their mark in the Great 8, but any mid season improvements could be enough to make their way into promotion. Entering their 4th season in IV.11 Tartans biggest challenge may be deciding which of his Superstars to train.
Great 8 Record: Unavailable. Playoff Appearances 3
