Now, you can't deny the fact that half (possibly) of the users from smaller nations said out loud they didn't like the idea.

He might not be able to deny that but I can. Even of the noisiest nations (Iran, the eastern europeans) in that thread it was less than a tenth of them saying out loud they were against. Nowhere near a half.

Actually for us in lower leagues of our countries changes would be, economically speaking, significant.

Often we get trashed in the market by players newer than us but with a economical power much much greater they have no idea how to manage...

We lose motivation and they quickly lose the pleasure of the game.

Not counting players from those nations that try the game, see it empty (for what they can see with their low experience) and leave even before a single game is played.

I'm in a full bot league (even thou i checked for max challenge... bha) and i'm staying just because i know the game and its times...

Just to add something important: most of those users have never spent a single $ on this game, so taking their rage too serious might be a mistake.

Technically true. In that case, we can also say that not many macrousers were in favor of changing the statu quo. And not many of the micronations users, those who we think would benefit from such changes, were saying they were in favor of the merging.

Its true or not, you saying technically doesn't make it any less true. As for the rest of your comment, I don't think I offered an opinion of how many macrousers were in favour of anything, so I'm not sure why you said that.

Now a solution i consider easy is to create macroregions over the world, while keeping the label of the nation u come from.

I mean to pool enough nations together under a unique league to let them have the same experience the same feel as nations with a bigger player base.
Well, you certainly are on the right track. Unfortunately, the BB's don't seem to be considering anything bigger than merging a few of the smallest nations, which they refer to as "micronations." This is also known as rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

They could rejuvenate the game entirely, but the will to do so seems lacking. I don't think it is the coding ability that is lacking, but I could be wrong about that. We all recognize that the vast majority of team rosters are comprised of players from all over the planet. In that respect it is already an international game. There is no good reason not to do the same with new leagues, combining teams from all over the planet into entirely new competitive worlds, each with a top league, Div. 2, Div. 3, and even if they choose to do so, Div. 4. Every division of every league could be essentially full of humans. Everyone could have a rich competitive experience. The game could be really good again.

It isn't gonna happen. There is no will to do so, and even the guys with official positions come on the forums and belittle the idea of any meaningful change. Kiss it all goodbye, slow but sure.

Not any but many like they say. I been moderator in PowerPlayManager for 5 years, during that time they changed small nations together at end of every season (random draw depending are there more than 80% of bots on lower div). SO there are continental leagues Europe, Asia, America, Oceania. As most moderators and game developers are from big nations they never care about the affect of micronation's playerbases and the altercation about the league structures.

During the times when some nations got melted, their flags got deleted and they were moved to continental forum. When it first happened five and half years ago, almost 1/4 of playerbase left the game, as there was no hope of getting promoted for some teams (they didnt make count of who was consecutive league/cup winner, so ex. Austrian top div club could meet Albanian 3rd league, now both have grown game independence). Also Internatil tourney spots were made harder to reach by that as Euro overall league had 2 spots from highest div to get to the "Champions Cup" (other countries had 3-4 spots, reaching playoffs).

Another problem with this was, that as the forum was, well rammed together with total disregard of cultural, ethical, moral and infrastructural balance it had to compensate, for "better management".

I hope you all see now why merging is useless, and small communities help and support each other enough, even if they have 70% of clubs in first 2 divs.

PS Foyle please I hope you understand that countries like "Eastern Europe" and Iran aren't the noisiest. Everyone has fair rights.

I was referring to the thread where the previous debate took place. I'll rephrase for you: the countries who seemed to me to be posting most against change were Iran, and one or two countries in Eastern Europe. I have never said they don't have the right to post, nor should you insinuate that I did say that. I also have the right to post, as I'm sure you will agree. And I'm also sure you'll agree I have a fair right to disagree with you.

Gully.

Fair rights?

Like me starting again from V div and some Abdullah Scaramush starting in Krappy nation in first league that with 1 season of tanking get as much as 3 years worth of me playing? And get bored of it after 1 season i add.

That 1/4 of player base, assuming no other radical change, is simply crappy exagerate data.

Thats just the game weird rules: you cant represent other countries (many games respect the fact that players from bigger countries can go and support smaller ones by making second team or whole account there). If you dont have strength to battle bots or inactive people there is no changes needed, maybe just regional leagues.
