What is considered Short Player in this game? Under 6ft5? Before inside shooting slows?

It depends on who you ask, but I personally believe players are short (to be big men) at 6'7" and smaller. However, I did train a 6'8" player who ended up being a serviceable guard for a few seasons.

A player that is 7' will train in IS faster than a 6'6", if I remember correctly.

This is taken from Coach Parrot. Didn't test it myself, but I think it is quite reliable.

That's nice to know...appreciate the heads up. So, should 1v1 forwards be the only way to get pops in inside shooting or would it be fast to play my trainees 1 position such as IS/C? IF I have a trainee at 6ft6? I totally live by the start off with 1v1 for the first couple seasons, then train OD, some PA and the boost more OF while mixing in 1v1

1v1 Forwards will also give you some IS training, but it's not the only way. IS will train faster if you play your 6'6" trainee at C and train IS.

Training 1v1 to round out the guard skills is a good idea.
