Just keep in mind that everyone wants to train as fast as possible and everyone is operating under the same limitations.

The more options there are and the more estimation involved the better the game is because is all of the information is automatically available then everyone would run their team perfectly. What kind of competition is that? For every San Antonio Spurs there needs to be a New York Knicks.

ok thats true somehow, but still i think its to complicated...
even if you would knew the formula or parts of it, you still have enough options such as positions or how many players you train to get enough differences, so there would be no masterplan.

It isnt too complicated. The potential feature is a realistic thing.

There are much options but to me everything is clear. I train players with high potential (higher than All-Star) and on one or two positions (C/PF inside scoring mostly centers). I give my players 48 minutes a week. This is the best possible way I can train in my opinion. Everyone can find such a way formula or no formula. Just simple things :

- High potential
- Young players (18,19)
- 48 minutes
- 1 position
- Best trainer you can get

This way you dont need a formula. This is just my opinion.

so what is with 20y old and maybe a bit to small for insideskills, you wont always find mvp`trainees which have perfect skillcombinations, and whats the difference between a lvl 5 or a lvl 10 trainer? still to many questions to me...

well i think 80%+ train multiskill, but that does not show the max.

That's not the way potential works, it's tied to salary.

this is news to me. In what way is potential tied to salary?

I thought I was paying attention, but not so if this be true.

For each level of potential, training slows down for all skills when the player reaches a certain salary level. It doesn't matter which particular set of skills you train to get the player to the salary limit.

The BBs pretty much explicitly stated something to this in the conferences. You will forgive me if the particular post number and name of the BB in question escape me -- I am sure someone more meticulous than ma will provide these

I invest really hard in this training thing. I spend like 500k for a mvp player with this:

Weekly salary: $ 4 853
DMI: 24300
Age: 18
Height: 6'11" / 211 cm
Potential: MVP
Game Shape: strong

Jump Shot: awful Jump Range: average
Outside Def.: average Handling: atrocious
Driving: inept Passing: inept
Inside Shot: strong ↑ Inside Def.: respectable ↑
Rebounding: average Shot Blocking: inept
Stamina: pitiful Free Throw: mediocre

As you see he allready went up in shot and defence. Now the blocking aint good at all but hey Ill train blocking when hes good in shots. Who cares I lose like 3 weeks training him fron inept to average. Perfect trainees are too expensive. I would rather train less players so they get better way faster.

The difference between 5 and 10 trainers are a) salary and b) the speed they can train players. The higher the level the faster players pop.

well train your one player... we talk again when he is 20...
i dont show you mine...
little advise you should train soon blocking to get him multiskilled if you train insideshot to high you loose a bit of time. (try reread the rules...) also salary will raise quicker
the last part of the message is useless...
i have to admit you dont know more than me, so you cant help me, thx for tryin anyway.
