Great idea.

SF training and SF representation in the game engine needs some attention, IMHO.

which one?

sf training - it's hard to do while playing your sf at sf, unless you do team or 3 position trainings, which is prob far from efficient for most teams

sf in the GE - you can play a center at SF against an actual SF, with roughly comparable total skills, and be very successful. It's unrealistic.

The BB has gone on the record to state that training SFs is supposed to be challenging. I wouldn't keep my hopes up about single-position SF training.

I think the training aspect is challenging to a fault, and the SF GE aspect is a failure in representing the game of basketball.

Could be. Regardless, the process is the same for everyone. When you get accustomed to the idea that your SF is not going to have all the skills that he can potentially use, the current situation is much easier to swallow.

I personally think it's an asset of the game, not a liability: you have to make tough choices about the skills you want to forgo at the SF position. This can often be a tactical choice depending on how you're playing, or who you're playing.

I know where this debate is going to go, so lets not get into it.

My preference is to make changes that keep BB being and becoming closer to basketball in reality.

Your preference is to keep the game as it is because it's same for everyone and whatever it is, in some way, it makes the game more complex/interesting/challenging.

How about you just say "no thanks" to this idea, leave it at that.

I've also heard a BB say that it seems unbalanced that the SF position is the only position without a single position training slot available to it.

I am curious who said that -- mostly because it isn't true.
