opk why standing means in relegation something toally different then in playOff ???

It doesn't.

If Team A is ahead of Team B in the conference, then Team A is also ahead of Team B in the rankings.

Ok answer me following question

Standings mean:

A. the rate of win or losses
B. the place the team is finished
C. i need time to think about it,

i think i explain it one a easy way, that here must be a failure because the same rules is used in two different ways in the same case(and i like to see two different cases in the rules, so that it was clear because they ain't a interpretion think it was an easy rule based decision)

Standings refer to the overall rankings in terms of wins and losses of the entire league, including both the Big 8 and the Great 8.

It should be fairly easy to see how the 6th team in the Great 8 will always be ahead of the 7th team in the Great 8 in the standings, whereas the 1st team in the Big 8 can sometimes be behind the second or even the third team in the Great 8.

it does, CrazyEye is right. The rules could be more clear here.

True, but relegation is not conference only, you play vs the other conference.

In the PO final standing refers to total standings (draft list). The guy with the lowest draft pick (= highest standing) will get HCA.
In relegation the nr 6 always has the HCA vs the nr 7 of the other conference, even when the nr 6 got a record of 5-15 and the nr 7 10-10.

edit: Erm, apparently I am an idiot, then.

so i like to see a complete new rules ...

"look at the games, you will see how it works "

When the way to explain things int he rules is stupid, and you had to look for example instead of taking the passage in the rules how it is said.
