You will get 1 mill. Try to spend them wise, and get 1 really good player than 2-3 average.

You will get the promotion bonus. You will not get an extra boost in Season Ticket Holders that the winner of the league gets.

If you get promoted, when will you be informed? During the offseason most likely?

How will you also be informed? Thanks.

You will not get an email or anything. Just when the season 9 start you will see where is your team

Just curious why you're calling them lucky losers? Luck has nothing to do with it and I wouldn't call them losers, either. Depending on the number of bots above you, you might have to have a very strong record to get a bot cleanup promotion.

That's correct, "lucky loser" is simply a term used in sports that somehow got stuck into my mind, and I think it's appropriate in this case after all. That's not meant to be an insult or anything (I actually wish I could be one!).

I must also say that I agree with Jokehim. If you have a very strong team in your league, which you know you just can't beat, your best bet to gain a promotion is to lose as few games as you can in the RS. That can lead to an odd situation, in which you maximize your team's effort during the RS without caring at all if you lose in the playoffs quarter-final against a team with a more balanced mentality. This shouldn't happen. You should be complelled to do your best at least until the final.

Play offs results can be very odd sometimes, there is nothing wrong in boosting your record.
