What about Stamina and Free Throws, regarding salary? Do these influence salary at all? As they always rise, IF they influence salary, these 2 then shouldn't be trained at all before reaching the soft cap, as you then with training these can go over the soft cap...?

On my team, there are a couple players who had free throw and stamina pops in season 8, without their salary changing in season 9. In season 8, those players received no training of any kind other than stamina and free throws.

My conclusion is that stamina and free throws don't influence salary, but there may be some factors involved that I haven't taken into account.

Stamina and Free Throws doesn't influence salary:) With the highest soft cap, but atroucius Stamina and Free Throws, you would still train their Free Throws and Stamina, before reaching soft cap.

You don't have to, but you most likely want to.

but this is independent from the cap, and especially with player with low cap you maybe don't find the right situation to do it before he reached it.

when i reading your first post, about the salary influence of ft and stamina and their link to potential, it sounded like you train it better before it soundesd a bit if you like to get to the point that it doesn't slow down the training afterwards but would slow down when you reach the cap.

I don't buy these numbers at all. Allstar (6) clearly trains to much higher than 30-35k, and it's definitely the potential for which there is the most data available, since all players created prior to the introduction of potentials were automatically granted allstar potential.

I feel that low potential players should be given the chance to become elite if given the right training. They should not be restricted to a certain salary as that's not really fair. I have a player whom I drafted a few year ago that had stat of at least respectable in 8 out of the 12 possible ones (the rest being mediocre/average), but he only has a potential of starter which really pain me as u can imagine what kind of player he could have become! It's really pity that such a good stat is put to waste due the restriction.

Btw, in the real world, not all players with high potential will fulfill their potential, there are always flop. Similarly, not all low potential players will flop!
