Much appreciate if yourself and inparticular Wolf (Trainerman) would like to enter the debate in the thread (264484.1) that I started.

I would really like to hear from you both as to what you each believe the number one priority should be and also why

This way only daytraders are hurt

Well, that was the idea, I guess...

I don't think only daytraders are hurt. There are a number of people who like to check the transfer list to see if there are better players than the current roster and then want to get a fair price on the player being replaced. I don't understand why the game play should be restricted by forcing people to have "stable" rosters. There are enough penalties already on buying players for the short term. If you just tax the profits instead of the whole amount or, alternatively, force people to list at lower prices, you remove the incentive for daytraders without hurting legitimate purchases.

LOL ... I just purchased 10 players last week, and see the new thing implemented this week. But I like it.

You will receive 24% of the sale price after fees.
- This player has been on your team for 3 days.
- You have sold 15 players in the past 14 weeks.

You will receive 24% of the sale price after fees.
- This player has been on your team for 6 days.

You will receive 34% of the sale price after fees.
- This player has been on your team for 8 days.

I will wait for a week or 2 and see how the % increases to more than 50%. Otherwise, 19 years old MVP players might become retired in 2 weeks time.

For those who need to change rosters before a season
most likely because they either relegated or promoted
one thing is paramount

You must put all of your players up for sale at the same time
or at least before the first one sells
after that, the pct you'll get will change for all of them

If you've kept the players for a season I highly doubt the percentage will be any different than 97% no matter how many players you sell. I suppose we could ask Kozlik or anybody else who's seen sub 50% percentages for newly bought players what the percentage is for players they owned for a season or so.

Don't worry. I also quite like this new rule, although I would try to solve it differently. First of all, I'd previously announced it...I just don't complain about users who earn money on rookies but I start to do the same

If everybody had done the same, we wouldn't have had problem with it. Price for rookies would rise, business on rookies wouldn't be profitable but investing in the draft would be more profitable, and everybody would be happy. We wouldn't need any changes which impact not only in users who transfer rookies...

But people are lazy and jealous. Yes, yes. This new rule is for lazy users, and against active users who spend a lot of time on TL and try to earn on it. I thought games developers would like active users, who often come to the site...but I guess I was wrong;-)

:-) I'm a little bit ironic. Don't be offended.

I just think that this new rule hit in active users on TL. Making money on transfers was great way to catch up users who started to play earlier and get faster on the same level.

I still hesitate it is good or bad update. I'm in the highest league in Poland so I think for me it isn't bad. But If I just started for example from V league it would probalby isn't good news for me. I would like rather to have chance to faster catch up (for example thanks to my activity) users who started earleir. If I had the opportunity to financial catch up users who started earlier I would be more willingly to stay in game.

BTW I think this game should be more intuitive and logical. Still the new rules and restrictions isn't always so good. Especially for new users. People are often lazy and impatient. They always want to play right now. They unwillingly read the instruction. BTW even instruction doesn't explain everything in this game. I think BB is becoming more and more difficult for new users...
