I was under the impression size means literally nothing outside of more proficient skills progression.


For me, size (plus skillset) lets me play guys at multiple positions. Let's say you have a 6'10 point guard with solid perimeter and inside skills, a 6'2 point guard who's a better guard, and power forward who is average inside and few perimeter skills. If the big guard is as good or better than the power foward, guess who I'm playing at power forward? Or maybe small forward. Maybe he plays at center if the matchup is right. At the end of the day, I'm just trying to find ways to get my best players on the floor and maximize their talents collectively.

I don't know that size means a whole lot, but it doesn't mean absolutely nothing. The player has to have the skills to make it matter. That's my thought process anyway.
