Hi everybody! I have a challenge to propose to every designer that feels in need of one. As you can see the name of my team is Guantanamo Prisoners and I chose it in a kind of satire of the NBA teams, any political meaning is just a pure coincidence. *cof cof*
Anyway, the actual logo I have is a symbol that can be found in the 1984, Death In June's album 'She said Destroy'. And I found that it fitted perfectly with what I wanted to express with the name I've chosen, being a mediaeval and twisted thing. The colour choice, well... you know. Just another pure coincidence. LOL :P
But I think that graphically, the concept of making a strong point and try to make fun of a NBA franchise are not well mixed together as they are in the name choice and in other aspects.
So what I would like to propose, if any designer has some free time in his hands and thinks that this could be an interesting thing to do, is to try to mix these two concepts making it a more commercially attractive thing, more NBAish. Feel free to make an interpretation on your own or to use the concepts I created and develop them. My BB-Mail is always open to a more open discussion on the subject ;)
