Differences in 3FG are at least suspicious. Outside defense team grades looks normal, but despite of that his guards scored much more efficient than yours. It's even more strange, when you consider your opponent played LI.

My guess is that your base offense lead to this very bad distribution of the shots - maybe it should be changed before next game.

Hi guys, I learned the hard way how inside isolation works. its a play off match I had better enthusiasm and more complete roster and far better ratings

The opponent did something "stupid" by changing some matchups without even knowing my skills and what I would play which luckily for him turned on his favor. I beat this guy with 30 points playing TIE in my homecourt

I was expecting that SF PF and C would take more shots but it wasnt the case . My pg whom I thought he would pass more did take some unreasonable shots , most likely because his defender was also crap but my PG didnt have enough JS or DR to overtake him. So what i learned from this game is that inside iso does not focus mainly on a good matchup but if a player believes he can take his defender he will try to score no matter how unreasonable it may seem to us outside observers

Any other suggestions ?!

Oh i see you dont know match about inside iso. It does not work that way (as described in the manual I mean), my PG got a ton of jumpers, and his IS is crap (3).

Driving is also a huge factor and my PG has DR 7. The only explanation is that the guy guarding my PG has low OD but my JS JR was also not that good (7 & 8) so my pg thought that he can play "isolation" even though my team had much much better options. I have played this system many times and its the first time it dissapoints me so much

Inside isolation takes priority on driving and then IS, but it takes alot of open jumpers and 3's if it finds the opportunity to do so

Look at my secondary PG his percentages are amazing (4-5 , 3-3 which explains opponent's low OD) , if I I have put him the match would be totally different but I chose a passing pg in order to secure easy SF PF C shots with his high passing, which obviously did not work

Anyway thanks for your reply

another scenario could be this : his coach adapted his defense to an inside one and then my guards were open but missed badly. Still his one inside defender was crap so even with a double team I should have scored more. anyway thanks again

I've got 3 puzzles:

1. His PG (matchup rating 106.5) was scoring 60 points (24-33 or 73%), why?
2. The opponent has produced only 9 TOs, while my team did 16 of them (against his weak defense), why?
3. Rebounding mediocre (high) vs. strong (low) did result in 35:39 rebounds, why?

:/

He guesses my tactic wrongly. I correctly guess he'll be attacking inside; thus I play 2-3 zone which nicely reflects in inside scoring vs. inside defense ratings (proficient high vs low)

My outside guys are much much better than his outside and I play RNG. (average high vs mediocre high)

I guess the outside oriented tactics being more effective is just a farce.

2-3 zone rarely works against inside offence. And you played a guard in SF position. I am guessing he doesn't have ID-SB close to your bigs. If you are playing 2-3 zone, you should at least play with 3 bigs or 1 SF with high ID-SB. As you can see your opponent's percentage was very high, almost %50. They also move the ball very easily in the offence, resulting in more assist and better shot quality.

I would just like to ask for the opinions of you guys on how I lost this game. My first thought was my team outrebounded him which gave me more shots but that didn't seem to change anything with the game. I also had defensive switches that game in order to limit the effects of having a point guard in 3. Would just like to know the opinions of the community so that I get to understand the game a bit more.
