Cause I am/was training Clint Mullan and Guido Cruz. What do you think I should do.

Looks like my division have a few good Guards and a Power Forward fromwhat i have seen so far

That guy looks pretty darn good to me...granted the potential is not amazing, but his skill-set is good enough that he wont drag your teams performance down when you get him playing time.

Personally, probably my best draft pick was this guy;

Joe Fleishman (13411748)
Power Forward

Weekly salary: $ 2 456

DMI: 0
Age: 18
Height: 7'0" / 213 cm
Potential: MVP
Game Shape: respectable

Jump Shot: mediocre Jump Range: awful
Outside Def.: pitiful Handling: average
Driving: mediocre Passing: awful
Inside Shot: awful Inside Def.: average
Rebounding: mediocre Shot Blocking: awful
Stamina: atrocious Free Throw: respectable

His base ratings are far from spectacular, but the age and potential are great...not sure whether i want to train him myself though, since i am very much focused on the outside.

My other half decent choice was;

James Southam (13411744)
Shooting Guard

Weekly salary: $ 5 147

DMI: 0
Age: 19
Height: 6'8" / 203 cm
Potential: star
Game Shape: respectable

Jump Shot: average Jump Range: respectable
Outside Def.: average Handling: atrocious
Driving: awful Passing: atrocious
Inside Shot: respectable Inside Def.: mediocre
Rebounding: average Shot Blocking: average
Stamina: respectable Free Throw: inept

Age and potential not amazing, but the base ratings are good enough that i can use him right off the bat.

Southam is perfect if you're going to train 1 on 1 next season, either at SG or SF. Better at SF, as that's his future.

Manage the skill progression correctly and you can train a star pot player to around 35k in salary. Trained properly he could be an attack-minded starting SF in tier II and a back-up in the EBBL when he reaches his skillz softcap.

Fleischman is an epic project and will be difficult to find players to train with, but he could eventually (we're talking eight seasons) be a very good player. I think you're better off seeing if anyone else wants to train him - but it may well be nobody will be prepared to take him on.

Yeah, i figured to use Southam as an SF due to the decent rebounding, and luckily my focus on the outside players mean i train 1 on 1 a fair bit, so will be sure to get him the necessary training time.

As far as Fleischman goes, i think you are probably right about trying to move him on...not sure i wanna switch to training inside skills since all my good players are at the Guard positions, so guess i will have to hope someone else in interested

Nato2010, as far as signing Charlie Abbott is concerned, i would love to bring him in as a backup and get him trained up, but i am not sure i will have the necessary funds...i am not entirely sure i will be promoting, as i am relying on bot teams relegating due to my playoff fumble, and if i dont promote i only have around 200k cash

guy's, please watch the fact that you aren't advertising for your ( or someone elses) player.

asking if anyone is intereted in a player ( futur U21/NT) is only permitted by the current U21 coach, and other than just posting his skills and the price that is being asked isn't allowed if i am correct (if not, then the first GM/La should adjust this post)

regards

I think this post is very easy to advertise without even meaning to. I have com on here purely looking for advice, (which never seems to come.) I probably fall into the category of inadvertally advertising my player. But whats the difference between putting players skills and a price on here and asking someone if there intrested in a player??

none, both are advertising.
