Wow, I just got crunch-timed by The Death Star. That's the 2nd season in a row for anyone keeping score...
Now my starting SG was already out with injury thanks to Big 8 thuggery. Then The Death Star injured my starting PG 1 minute into the game! (Trying to get revenge for my team "getting jiggy with it" against him last season?)

Well, it takes a lot more than that to shutdown the #1 offense! Even playing 47 min. without either starting guard & getting Crunch-Timed against, still scored a jaw-dropping 109 points on over 50% shooting!!!

Some have doubted the potency of my offense {cough, everyone}. To that I say:

boo...

{dramatic pause}

yah.

Next time you play me, you should sit your starting PG/SG; it leads to offensive scoregasms.

I got crunched by The Death Star too, you are not alone :) I guess it wasn't a bad strategy against me though since he won.

Wow, tough break. Still a pretty close game for TIE vs CT... it was 69-72 to start the 4th quarter. & even with 30 seconds left it was still only a 10 pt lead. (89 — 99).

His CT of me last season made sense. But this season's CT of me was really strange strategy-wise... (He ended up losing to a Div V team in the Cup 2 days later, probably because of it.)

Good win by The Blue Stars.
Blue Star inside domination! But wow, the difference effort makes... only -1 in rebounding (resp. vs. high) & it turned me into last season's Rice Eaters, lol. 22-5 offensive reb & 63-38 overall. Also pretty cool -- despite missing a ton of FT, Blue Stars still made as many FT as actual field goals.

A little surprised Offensive Flow didn't seem to matter though. respectable vs. mediocre... a full +2 difference. Yet basically even turnovers/steals, even with me having higher OD on top of it?? (just curious)

Good game. With the lineup I put forth in this game I was looking to gain a rebounding advantage but I knew it would be at the expense of both OD and Outside scoring. Something I was willing to risk as you are an inside team. The RB advantage was a lot larger than I expected and that probably had to do with the difference in effort. FT will be the death of this team at some point but I got lucky tonight.
