I wonder if the effect of the speciality is depending on the level of the staff, or if the effect is the same regardless of the overall skill.

I wonder to which extent will the salaries increase weekly... this is crucial, because we could end up changing trainer twice per season if the automatic rise is too big...

Sincerely
Giuseppe

P.S. I think I'll wait for the frenzy to stop and for the dust to settle down... prices will be totally crazy for at least a couple of weeks...

Will the team training like Stamina and Free Throw still be consistent regardless of the skill level of the trainer?

Might be time just to sit back with a lvl 1 guy for a couple of weeks.... nah lets just go blow it all on someone who has an 8 week shelf life!!

well... i don't know but it could be just me...

maybe i guess this would be a good time to lift the inflation "penalty" because now the new staff system makes the staff market into a new bidding war wherein as far as i can see, you can't sell your own staff (i think) and the staff system is looking more like a big money vacuum, so to speak...

penalites, percent contributions from players, and now, staff bidding... not to forget they are still part of payroll.. any thoughts on this matter?

The crucial factor is the extent of weekly or periodic salary rise... if it is on the order of one hundred bucks, it will lead to a bearable increase of costs, and you'll be able to keep a good specialist for long time... but if the cost rise is a percentage of the salary, well, very good trainers might easily become something you get for maybe half a season... This might be realistic for doctors, especially because one might look at the market and hire Dr. House to get back healthy an important player, then fire him... but besides this possibility, I'm concerned by the new system, frankly speaking.

Sincerely
Giuseppe

As far as I can tell, higher level doctors still don't heal your players quicker. They will only reduce the lenght of an injury when it happens..

Well, if it is so, the system has zero appeal for me...

with the market going in turmoil, bearable costs are crucial... i can't afford to get ten 100$ costs in a season, provided also that some teams don't do train and sell, as much as the other teams who does it...
