I am not so sure about training for SB if size matters, but i am positive that size matters in training for Rebounding and Ball handling. Advantages in rebounding for taller trainees n advantages for shorter trainees in ball handling.

Is it just me, or has training really slowed. This, together with a change in coaches system, is suggesting to me that this game is changing rules as it goes along to consolidate the strength of those at the top of the tree.

One of the things I enjoyed was that players improved every few weeks - this game is now losing that. May as well stick with one game (Hattrick) where I don't need to try to get in a bidding war at odd times to get a coach that can actually help my team (or to limit the bleeding on the ever inccreasing wage of the incumbent!). This bleeding will ultimately mean you downgrade your coach - even less training effectiveness!

Maybe I'm over reacting...I don't know.

someone should be able to tell if this thread goes on regarding training speed,

but for me it surely become slow, my 6'5 pg oftenly gets a pop every 3 weeks but now with this pass nothing even happens

for a all star did he reach his potential.

one thing we have to udnerstand, with training speed analysis is probably basing it on 18-19 yrs old but how about thepotential on how it plays?

this leaves a lot of doubt, now his going to get 1 more year older and its gong to get even harder.

did the bb's adjust the speed to compromise for level 6 and 7 trainers?

Ditto.

As ive just stated in another thread - it seems all players now are going to merge and become equal (allstar potential) and by the age of 22!

This either means that the higher potential players will rise in value or we will need to train players into their mid to late 20's to really create a mismatch against a similar strength team.

Anyhow one thing is for certain - the ability to create some truly magnificent players (which was a massive appeal in the early game life) is now almost going to be impossible.. even if you have a decent 19yo MVP.. the training slowdown will mean he is only likely to start surpassing the best allstars at age 22/23 and then with even slower training it is arguably not worth training anymore.

So if the best we can ever build big men is Triple Wondrous (or a variable of this) and Guards (insert best combo here) then will the game sustain a longer term interest once a team cant build beyond this even if they want to?

you know if this is the case then it doesnt make a whole lot of sense.

why invest so much on drafts when your training is just going to be this slow, fuuny to even think about a training regime when in fact you dont know how far this going to do for you.

even though high potential than all star makes it more attractive money wise but what can that do for you even with a perfect plan though now even basing on one's competence but how does the system works.

i havent seen drafted players having strong or any higher than respectable skill level imagine that.

lastly, it doesnt really fair too much if the adjustment ( IF THERE ) was made because of availability of level 6 and 7 trainers. because of the advantage they give probably now again it doesnt make sense to go and make a bid war on staff

Does a triple wondrous guy outplay an octuple strong in a game?

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.
