Hmm.. I thought it is usual that your team doesn't starts well but always gets stronger and stronger as the season goes by ;P

Hopefully can win some games, coz i felt being down one level after the defeat from SingSing. FSX will not be happy...

Then you should see my last game.. -.-''

Their players are very well balanced, almost all players have 14.0 rating... most deadly at SF/SG position (lower salary but very productive).

Hm, it's gonna be a headache to face them.

One-Third Season Report : Esplanade BC & Pekanbaru Jaguars lead their respective Division after first seven games.

Big 8 - The Turnaround

#1 Esplanade BC
Season 18 of Big 8 sees a new powerhouse of their own, which is the Dark Horse Esplanade BC. EBC started the season with one-point loss 95-96 to Singapore Showstoppers, but did bounce very hard to back on track by winning their last 6 games, earning them a first spot at Big 8. EBC has soundly beaten those Big 8 opponent, with the most devastating is when destroying Sessioes Doers 94-72 and Shohoku Backers 105-75 when visiting both arena. The biggest difference maker behind EBC success is their new wingmen Dimos Tsemperlidis , who averaging 21ppg 6.9rpg and 5.4apg.

#2 Singapore Showstoppers
Last season Big 8 leader, Singapore Showstoppers now holding the 2nd spot with 5-2, still relying a lot on Noel Lima (14.9ppg 14.0rpg) , Pedro Pineda (15.7ppg, 11.9rpg) and Xiong Jiayun (15.3ppg). Started the season well, but were hurt by their latest defeat at home by Eric United 94-115.

#3 Eric United
Eric United, SGP B3 participant this season, still showing normal pace at early season with 4-3 record. Fans were dissapointed when they lost home games to Sessioes Doers 92-79, but EU bounced back on National TV games by defeating Singapore Showstoppers 115-94. This season of EU has paired up two superstars, brought in Turkeys NT Simavi Duyu (12.5ppg 7.8rpg) to combo up with Augusto Gomez (25.3ppg 5.4apg).

#4. Sessioes Doers
There's no significant changes on SD, as the team still trying to hold their position on the top 4 spot. But their latest home games narrow win against SaungHninPwint 95-94, could be a sign that SD will see more such games, or even could result more narrow defeats. Ricardo Paz led the team with 28.6ppg, Eike Balkhausen with stat-stuffed 16ppg 12rpg 3.3apg and 2.6bpg.

Bottom Four
Newcomer SingSing82 were even entering top 4 position before tied up with SD with lesser points differences, staying at fifth. Former strong teams Lycans BB and Shohoku Backers both ranked sixth and seventh, and another newcomer SaungHninPwint hold the last spot, but are making sounds on National Tournament.

Great 8 - The Consistent Performer

#1 Pekanbaru Jaguars
The Jaguars back to lead Great 8, beaten all opponent although fell short to Cheesecake 91-99. Led by their duo bigmen Pakistani Arief Salim (19ppg 9rpg) and Petrus Alexandersson (15.8ppg 13.0rpg). Swapped Petrus Debrier and Karol Musial for Greek NT Tsampiakos Isaias (10ppg 5.8apg 4.8rpg) has given the much needed position at PG.

#2 Cheesecake
Participating at B3 & National Tournament don't make Cheesecake to slow down, as they still taking care of the business, especially at home, where they refuses to let Jaguars to slip past them, won by 99-91. Known by their outside games, their tandem of Severino Peres (21.0ppg 6apg) and Vincenc Katic (23.7ppg) are very hard to contain by any defenders of SBBL.

#3 Shwe Toe Ngal
This could be a serious season for STN, as they have morphed into a team that could withstand any given teams from B3 tournament. With acquisition of Adam Bralić (9.6ppg 9.4rpg), their Interior Defense become more respectable than ever. Vratislav Altman (13.9ppg 5.3apg) and Celso Valente (16.9ppg 4.0apg 4.3rpg) has given enough effort to contain any guards in the league.

#4. Compassvale United
Compassvale are starting strong, although it only landed them at 4th. But with their victory against Cheesecake, 2point win against STN and 1 point victory against Whampoa Allstars on Tournament, has already given CPU much needed boost at start. Mel Miller (18ppg) led CPU with scoring, while Wang Xiang Jia (11.3ppg 8.3rpg) & Lin Baoxiang (12.5ppg 8.6rpg) still anchoring the middle.

Bottom Four
Fat Alexander still on mediocre pace and stayed at fifth. Newcomer WeRChamps hold the sixth, SLZH is at seventh. The season 15 tournament champions, again has lost Andrea Zardo for another 2 weeks, could be heading souther with their recent shuffling on lineups. Team Sleeps hold the eigth place.
