I played before here but didn't do anything substantial, only to D4 then forgot about BB. I relearned all this from the offsite forum though

Yeah I never made it past D4 because I didn't pay enough attention. I do remember getting a 18 MVP potential PG, and starting him on 1 v 1, but that was the last thing I did, by the time I came back(just before I would have been kicked automatically) I had no money and was producing negative. So I just decided to quit, but I plan to actually pay attention and slow build this time.

I am in desperate need of a trainee as my main one right now is almost capped (Julian Joubert if you look at my roster, he is a beast, 12 JS right now planning on getting that to 16) but after he is capped I wont have anyone to train

Yeah, I have Hoffman right now to work on, but I'm planning on using him for transfer $ once he gets some good time with us. I'm going to keep building my stadium, it is pretty clear we're maxed out with bleachers but will profit from expanding elsewhere. Wish this game had a data tool to track profit from each ticket price(graph), it would be a nice and easier way to track profit. Hopefully once I expand enough, I'll have the ability to maintain top level staff/scouting. Might hang around in D4/5 till then.

What does your staff look like?

You can see these charts on buzzer-manager.com

I have a level 1 doc but my trainer and public manager person are both level 4.

What are Hoffmans skills at, I might be interested, I'm also thinking of buying a SF trainee next season to train for the U21 team.

I'd like to train him up a bit myself first, I have a level 5 trainer and I'm pretty confident I can improve him quite a bit.

Right now he is: (Descending Order)
8 7
5 2
5 5
6 6
5 7
7 6

However if you're interested and I pick up a better trainee in the draft, I'll message you when I put him up for transfer.

Alright, just a heads up don't ever do JR training (3-pt shooting or whatever its called), JR is the most useless skill and 7 is plenty high

Alright, based on basketball logic it shouldn't be that way but no system is perfect. Completed first one on one practice with level 5 coach and Hoffman popped in both handling and driving.

Biggest problem they need to fix right now is PGs, totally unrealistic representation of them.

I've noticed that it's like that for a lot of basketball simulation games unfortunately. If you do inside tactics they pass the ball more, anything else I think it's an OK representation

IMO the top point guards should all be around 6-10 Assists. That is how it plays out in real life. Look at some of the top teams though, it just isn't how it turns out. they typically have 2-5. I play a specialized sim that uses FBB that almost exaggerates PG ability, but I like that because it is my favorite position, and it is still closer to the real NBA.
