I think some of the best things that differentiate BB from other games is that its free (not even any pay to win features) and its not keep-clicking-and-keep-upgrading-and-keep-waiting-longer type of game

The pacing I mentioned earlier is not really targeted towards how the seasons and weeks are structured, but exactly at training speeds and to a certain degree of what do I do on days without games? There isn't really that constant draw for a new player (or even old casual players) to keep coming back

I feel gameshape is already a big enough factor to stop everyone from playing 3 games of their best line up per week, there is no sense to tie training into the games minutes management as well

Training/practice can be a separate module or component in the game where as a manager/coach I have to log in everyday to do something and there is potentially progress that happens day-to-day to my players... like a real NBA team would

I think main point again is, there hasn't been any evolution to this game and the fact is the number of users are dropping... there is no solid plan or vision from the BBs
While you still have a community active, I think BBs really need to take a hard look to see what is the future plan or projects for this game and how they can use the community to move this game forward

Like for crying outloud, the forums arent even a proper forums...

Once upon a time there were like 50k users, so there is for sure enough draw for this type of game... I would love to learn programming and make my own game lol
Not to compete with BB but just to let the legacy continue

"I saw another suggestion earlier in the thread for rookie managers to be put in designated leagues filled with only other rookies and/or bots. [snip]

This is why we have division 5

And we have as many active users in V in the USA as I have transgendered unicorns pooping on my couch.

Funny you mention that actually. Did you know that the Unicorn is actually based on Pegesus?
