I don't like that zone defenses are strong against inside/outside attacks because we already have predictions for that.

If you have a stronger team than your opponent because you have worked hard for that, your game shapes are better because you have taken care of the minutes and so on... you should win the match most of the times.

If a team is way inferior but he is lucky predicting that his opponet will play, for example, LP, and he predicts LP and he plays 2-3 and both things combined give him the advantage ... we are giving luck too much of a role in this game.

Predictions are mostly luck.

Of course you can build your team in such a way that you have only one strong attack (outside or inside) and you have to pay the price of being easily predicted.

But even if your team can attack both outside or inside, your opponent have a 50% chance of being successful by chance (33% if you have also a strong patience or if you like II/OI).

Some degree of luck in the game is fine. But the inferior team consistently predicting outside plus 3-2 OR inside plus 2-3 ... with that strategy producing unexpected upsets ... I think that it can be too much.

It is a matter of degree, of how much of an impact predictions and zones have on the result.
I think that, if zone defenses will have a bigger role from now on, maybe we can part with predictions. It is one thing or the other to me.

EDIT: and I think that BB has too many features that have been accumulating along the years, and some of them are no longer useful (or never were). The game is unnecessarily complicated and it would be a good thing to delete some of those features. For example, if predictions and zone defenses do in essence the same thing, just delete one of them.
