Thanks, last season when I was in D1 I was below salary floor, this year hopefully I won't be so staying in league should be manageable.

At least I'll earn some money to quickly get back again in case I do get relegated! This year I had -200k weekly balance, but could afford it.

Should be fun!

Congrats and good luck!

I managed to make the playoffs of the Div 1 for the first time now as a 4th seed. We managed to give tough time for the 1st seed but fell just short in the last quarter. However, this was a nice step forward. Hopefully next season we can get even better results.

The biggest issue will be that our number 1 star Paakkinen turns 34, so we just have to hope he won't decline very fast. And btw, he will soon become the all time rebound leader of the Suomi NT being only 12 rebounds away from the number 1 spot. Not bad from a homegrown team player!

After the last sale tonight, count Vilniaus "Vilkai" as a homegrown team! Currently have 8 players with draftees joining in soon. Hopefully, I will get some nice talent to proceed with building my backcourt.

Not sure if this was mentioned here yet, but VirtusPortici (47391) was promoted to Italy's Serie A (first division).
If I'm not mistaken, it's the first time in history that a homegrown team has made it to serie A in Italy. This is a truly amazing achievement, considering that Italy has more active users than any country in BB.

HUGE congratulations to Sventra and his fantastic team.

If I'm not mistaken, it does deserve an asterisk though. Some of his players while they were drafted by his team were trained by other teams as he sold them immediately or not long after their draft. He then bought them back later in their career. Including the two biggest salaries.

Yeah, I think that's why he's a Drafted team rather than a Homegrown team, you're right.

In any case, quite an achievement!

Didn't know there is this distinction. I've a Drafted team, then And I intend to keep it this way.

My second attempt to stay after promotion to the top competition was unsuccessful. So I'm back in the second league. And I'll probably stay here longer. I don't like losing in the top league :)

I'm neither (although it would be cool to try), but I think I would go the Drafted team route.
It adds another tactical aspect in deciding whether how many of your trainable guys to train, and how many to sell immediately, in the hopes of having someone else train them for you and buying them back.
