Well the first week has always been very slow, nothing new here

That's wrong
how late and slow is very new
There had never been a delay of more more than a couple of hours before
standings sometimes a full day behind now
Next cup opponent also way way behind from what had been previously

I'm also sad BB is working so slowly those days, could be one of reasons why people quit and that's not good, they must do something to improve that for sure cos people are not patient anymore, every season the same.

And about the Toggle Tactics I can't remember if I saw it once on the time, this would be cool to fix too.

I know they can do it, so full support from me to BB!

This is where we hold them!

This game is still very healthy, sometimes it runs a little slow, but this site is getting up there in age. I think they do a wonderful job of keeping this up, sorry to be insolent and churlish but most of you are nitpicking.

Game wise I think it has never been better, adding GDP and the nuances it creates to how the drama can play out in a single night is compelling.

What is even more amazing it that this game is still around and truly DOES continue to evolve.

Yeah, it's really weird. Maybe because I wrote a mini-essay, I don't know.

Wholeheartedly agree with your posts. I'd give you 10 balls per post if I could. I raised some of the issues you touched (more eloquently and with less vitriol) in the past, so it's good to see others mentioning this as well.

Spot on. Any way we can help new managers by letting them know: 'yeh this guy is decent' before they have to work it out is a good start. As well as giving them at least one decent starting player in the first place.
I think they can easily implement some kind of rating system based on salary/potential, possibly linked to the fan survey, where you get:
- Fan favourite star rating (based on current skills)
- Prospect star rating (based on age+skills+potential)
Obviously this would be based on current roster, so for someone the fans' favourite player is a 5k salary PF and for someone else is a 240k salary PF.

Come on, they were talking about making the game more palatable for newcomers. I completely agree with them and I think something visual to help them understand what to look out for might help.

I've always been extremely critical about the way the game don't cater for new users and the seemingly lack of focus on user retention, you may say it's wishful thinking, but at least is something. Say you retain 1% more users: it's still positive and a step in the right direction in my opinion, because, numbers aside, it would show commitment to improvements in a key area.

Ty, is good too see we're in sync and other people see the issues as well. Hopefully the staff will listen and one day things will be easier for newcomers.

What I really love to see for us veterans and newcomers as well is an indicator, a number or something that tell us that a player is being trained and growing towards the next skill pop-up. Seeing our players growing towards the next pop up each week gives us a sense of progress that can be quite addicting and satisfying. Currently as it is, seeing our players popping up each 2-3 weeks is a bit saddening and increases the perception of slowness of the game.
