But I can't do it! If I do this in a League Match the starters will play more minutes than they should! And their form will go down!

This is not a normal solution....

How do you know how much exactly the starters will play in Depth Chart until 4th, and why do you think it will be significantly different than Strictly Follow Depth Chart?

Because I did it before, and I have to changed to "the trainer choose..." because my starters played so much minutes. When I had the match won, my starters keep on playing (even the 4th quarter), and the trainer changed less times.

I put examples, with a won match:

With "follow strictly...."----> Starters around 40 minutes per match (9067019)
With ""The trainer choose...."----> Around 30 minutes (9067047)

The reason why your players played less minutes in the second game is the so-called "blowout rule". When you enter the last quarter leading by 20 or more, your reserves will not play until the end of the game, barring a spectacular comeback from the opposition.

In general, the starters will play about 38 minutes when there is no blowout, and about 28 when there is one. This number, of course, may vary slightly based on player skills and stamina levels.

Ok, I´ll try again with "follow strickly...." if you say that the blowout will happen too with that order.

Thank you.

100% sure I set my team to play man to man and in normal team effort, and I end up playing 3-2 and take it easy : (8484302)

A game I should dominate even with my subs and I loose ...

In a match(8664410) my Backup SG played 3 minutes in PF position.
Why? I had a both Backups PF and Reserves PF assigned. Why play my Backup SG [who I needed to get his minutes as SG] as PF then? Why? There is no sense in that. And what is BB doing to solve this problems? How am I gonna run a legitimate training program if game engine keeps disobeying my orders?

And before someone tells me that those 3 minutes are really not that much big of a deal, let me just say that this is NOT the first time things like this happends. It's just that I'm writing about it for the first time:/
I set my orders very carefully and ON TIME and for what? For this? This is NOT cool, BB. Not cool:/

P.S.
I don't really think this matter, but anyway, for those who think it does, I played "Depth Chart until 4th Q."

I obviously matters, in case it is a bug with one of the coach instructions.

For the sake of having some order in the bug reports, I'd like to ask everyone who has had this problem to report it in the following format:

MatchID
Coach Instructions
Attitude
Name/Position of the Original Starting Player(s) and the ones they were replaced by.

Hi Charles,

In relation with this bug I would like to know your opinion about the "Depth Chart until 4th". Could you explain what is the main utility of this coach instruction?

I always thought it should allow you to play with "bad players" most of the match, and then let "the good ones" enter the match at the last quarter.

But with this bug, it seems impossible to do that. In my case, every time I put a bad player as the starter (i.e. a young player I want to train) and a really good player as reserve, the order is reversed from the beginning (so the good player become a starter).

From my point of view, it looks like this coach instruction is working on the opposite sense (so more similar to "let the coach decide" than "follow strictly my orders"). I don´t know how exactly these instructions work, but this bug seem to be related to a bad understanding of this terms.

In my case, the problem does not seem related to the fact of sending the orders in the last second.

We can get more reports about this bug from the big spanish community if you want, by opening an official thread about this if you want.

Regards, and thanks for the effort.
