Ownership of BuzzerBeater Changes Hands to Spicy Sparks: Exciting Upgrades Ahead

In a major development for our beloved basketball manager game, BuzzerBeater, we are excited to announce that the game's ownership has transitioned to an Italian company, Spicy Sparks. This change marks the beginning of a new era for BuzzerBeater, promising significant upgrades while preserving the core values that our community holds dear.

Spicy Sparks is best known for the music streaming app eSound Music, but also has experience developing online games in the past. This is also a great opportunity to introduce BB-Marco from Spicy Sparks, who is a long time basketball fan and a former BuzzerBeater player, from the times of the games’ infancy. Supporter Price Adjustments

During the process of implementation the new payment system (feel free to check it out on the Supporter page), we have realised that some of the countries have been placed in the wrong price tiers. Those seven countries have been placed in tiers that are lower than their real economic standards and have therefore been moved up, partially due to the fact that the new prices now also include VAT tax. You can check the comparison table of the changed tiers here, with indicated new and old prices. https://i.imgur.com/pyjIM2e.png

We would also like to note that all teams from those countries that have active subscriptions, will be moved to the new tier at the time of the next subscription renewal. This will happen only after we have completed the implementation of the new payment system and after all the subscriptions have been migrated to it.

如同我們曾承諾的，我們在保持遊戲核心完好的道路上持續地進行遊戲升級任務。新的遊戲介面進度良好，其他的升級也在默默地進行中。

上季的U21世界錦標賽冠軍由MX.hahaRUN執教的中國奪下，在一場差距極小的比賽當中擊敗了由Norris領軍的西班牙。決定比賽走向的因素為效果絕佳的內線單打戰術，最終比數為80 - 85。 下一屆的世界盃錦標賽將會由北馬其頓來舉辦。

Norris也許失之東隅，但終究能收之桑榆。在輸掉U21的總冠軍賽後，他最終以非常接近的比分帶領著他的Etonic Akeen在B3冠軍盃賽的總決賽擊敗了由apple率領的明教。雖然在最後一節差點被對手絕地大反撲，但是前三節累積的領先仍讓他們能在最後開懷大笑，最終比數為58 - 60。成功地猜測對手的戰術讓他們得以在最後擋下他們的垂死反撲。

如同以往的賽季，B3競猜依舊會頒發免費的支持者給他們最熱衷的猜獎者。這屆的第一名為來自波蘭的konrad41，第二名為來自塞爾維亞的Dzi-Dzi，第三名則是來自香港的不死鳥。我們希望未來的競猜玩家都有著好運，不管你是否需要！

Welcome to season 66!

As promised, we are continuing our work on upgrading BuzzerBeater in a significant way while keeping the heart of the game intact. A new interface is in the works as well as other upgrades behind the scenes.

Last season’s U21 Championship was taken by China, managed by MX.hahaRUN, in a closely contested match with Spain, managed by Norris. The deciding factor was a well placed inside isolation strategy (80 - 85). The next World Championship will be hosted by North Macedonia.

Norris may have lost the U21 finals, but he didn’t disappoint in the B3 finals! Again, back to back, a very low scoring and close victory of his Etonic Akeen over 明教, managed by apple. The match ended 58 - 60, during which Norris’ players allowed very little to their opponents in the first three quarters, but in the fourth almost allowed an incredible comeback. Guessing the opponent’s attacking strategy may have brought the edge to ensure the win.

As every season, the B3 predictions contest has awarded free Supporter to the keenest of managers. Leading the pack was konrad41 from Poland, followed closely by Dzi-Dzi from Serbia and finally, 不死鳥 from Hong Kong. We wish all of the future contestants lots of luck, if you indeed even need it!
