No Lopo is not strict; he has invented this whole listing and he says that everybody is homegrown as long as they do not have players on the roster who were not drafted by them. Then, within the set of homegrown teams, there are different varieties: Those that have never bought any player, those that bought and sold players earlier; those that have an active player that was trained elsewhere (like myself)... everybody can say and see who is what, there is no offense to anybody. In my opinion, Lopo gets this exactly right.
