Haha, I did not mean I am old :D Or older than others. I had in mind that trends are different these days and less people choose to play games like BB :) But I like your comment :))

You are definetly say the point of this discussion. I mean - app for phones and tabs. This is it what can change bad statistic. App is low cost and huge profits. People use phones in every single day in every single hour. And often there are situation - you wait for something or use communal transport and open Play Market and you think - hmm what new i can download. If there buzzerbeater app - we will have lots of new users. Of course lots of them download app, creat account and resign, but if there will be 100000 downloads and 10% users stay with us we will have 10000 new users. Second thing is that I will be happy if i can use mobile app when i'm at university for example.

I like your breaking down problems into categories.

I don't agree with economic imbalance though. If the market wasn't flooded, it wouldn't fix the problem, it would only return it to the starting point. Everyone would start training massive salary, no secondary skills players. They would be more expensive in the beginning, but would drop as more of them gets trained, so all over again.

Actually, I got an idea about this, I will make a new thread in suggestion page.

I went through all these posts and I just hit one full year of play. I spent money at first but not all of it because of my experience playing sport games. I could have blown my money quickly though. Honestly, if new BB players are to stay, seasons should be shorter. I like the idea of 4 game weeks and I understand a lot of changes to the games code would need to change but giving away stuff like awesome young players with nice potential or more money isnt the solution, everyone sounds extremly liberal here lol. Cheating would happen too. Make progress quicker, just like I read on here, its like going to the gym. Players need to see progress quicker is all. I love BB and I guess I would like it seasons to move a bit quicker too.

Also, when new teams are created they really should start in the lowest leauge. No one likes to get raped every game, so even competition would be good for ALL new teams. Everyone in the world of sports arent stat majors and this game is extremly statistical which is intimidating to some people.

Love BB and I like the GDP idea...

The main problem is that the BBs seem to not be present here, they are now well hidden and in general the community is not involved to partecipate in discussions. This is a static game and if there isn't anything to do + lack of motivation, it's easy to understand why people left the game.
For the "old one" like me, there is another problem that is still related to the "boring" aspect of the game but it's also linked to something that didn't change in these years; when you've a discussion about draft or tactics the usual answer of BB and GM is "Hey the problem is yours, draft is mediocre but is the best possible here and all the tactics are well balanced, rebuild your team".
The result is that people is leaving the game but again, it seems BBs left already this game before their users.
As someone said we don't know what they do all the day but if they work here they can invest better their time, in any case sometime it's enough to write a post to double check the situation here and to try to give us new motivations to play.

As someone who has also started about one year ago I agree with a lot of the points you bring up. One of the biggest things that keeps people on the game is having some success. The bottom part odlf my league has been a revolving door for a long time. Teams join lose 10 straight games and then disappear. One of the best ways to solve this would have everyone start at the lowest leagues. It would give them a chance to both learn the game and have some early success.

The other problem that I believe is driving off users is the amount of time it takes too improve enough to advance leagues and the inherent disadvantage that newer teams have. I personaly was close to quitting recently because of teams that have been in the game for 10+ seasons more than me spend the millions that they have saved from tanking and gies from worst to first in my league. This exact scenario has happened to me twice in the last two seasons. And another team in my leagueis in the process of doing this for next season. I think when newer teams relize that it may be a year or more before they have a chance at winning their league it takes a lot of fun out of league games. The only solution i can think of for this is speeding up the seasons so new teams can be competitive faster.

Take my team for instance. I started in Div 5. It took me 1 real year to advance to the middle pack of Div 3 where most of the teams are active. I also consider my rise to Div 3 pretty quick.

My best trainee who I drafted is still not as good as my regular starters. Basically I have devoted a year to training him and he still isn't that important to my team. Also I have to somewhat weigh training with trying to win a title. So I have to balance that as a factor too which slows my progress down.

You have some additional activities that you can do to bridge the waiting from one game to another.

1. Train a U21 player. It's a lot of fun and it takes only three seasons to get him into U21.
2. Train a NT player. It takes a lot of time before it's fun and it takes away some wins in the process, so you have to be prepared.
3. Buy the supporter and play in private league in order to have one additoinal game per week.
4. Chase achievements
5. etc...

There are a lot of smaller goals you can work toward while waiting to win D.I...

I like old-school. This is not a chew-and-spit game. You are not supposed to start in D.V and win D.I after four seasons. The game would become even more boring. There are lot of goals you can pursue in this game.
I was bored too, so I engaged in U21 and nw I'm finishing my 6th season as U21 coach. It's been great! I'm out of motivation for U21 now, but I'm looking forward to NT. U21 and NT can be great motivators for "dinosaurs".

I agree thought that a second team for supporters is a great idea.

not everyone can be a national team coach. ;)

I agree with increasing the gamespeed too. When I first started, I felt like I had to wait forever until the next game. Now I am used to it but I would welcome such an increase in gamespeed...more games...more fun! ;)

The same counts for a second supporter team. Let them join smaller countries and it would bump the micronations a little bit. They would get more prospects for their national team and the flag chasing would not be such a pain in the ass.

It is clear that the BBs have to act in the near future if they really care about the game. The suggestions that people make are mentioned repeatedly. Even help was offered. History has shown often enough that if you do not satisfy your customers, they will switch to a competitor sooner or later.

This might be the biggest issue here. So frustrating really...
