What I am trying to figure out, was that in essence a tank out, or was there a method to his madness that I was luckily set up to take advantage of? Oh, and in a typical BB twist I go one spot down the pecking order on aggregate.

I'm still not quite finished with my shotblocking training, and I certainly don't want to have that linger into next year, so I took the risk of running the patient and wasting a couple of outside shooters. But honestly, it wouldn't have mattered since my defense with switches is pretty much the same as it would have been otherwise and it wasn't nearly good enough.

Shot blocking is clutch, and you do have a game to burn, if not three. Of course the yearbook film will make it sound like it was moving heaven and Earth.

Deronimo naturally has a lot of VPI imagery being an alumnus and all.The Hokies are famed because they have incorporated one of the great metal songs ever made as their entrance anthem. Though the tune in question also reminds me of the original ECW from circa 1995. The Generals have played in some surreal contests over the ages, perhaps nevermore than the events of last evening. The biggest story coming out of this contest is that the Blasters got not just one...but two...half court prayers answered. End of first, end of third, end of seven game winning streak.

And this season goes from the surreal, to the sublime. FINALLY the boys knock off Deronimo, but still have the feeling third is the end result, and I have a feeling the Blues is becoming the Bulldogs to lose. Though Deronimo is not to be discounted.

I'm happy for you, by which I mean I'm happy to have an extra game cushion for HCA purposes if I make it that far.
