Indeed, if everyone could avoid those preposterous assumption about anybody's life or intelligence just because the guy disagrees with you, that would be kinda cool.

You only think that would be cool because you're an EGM and a French one at that - any real intelligent person who's not beholden to the BB illuminati would welcome a healthy dose of name calling.

(Incidentally, for the four people in BB who don't get it, that's a joke. I know Perpete's a clever fellow with a developed sense of humor who will understand the joke). ;)

He is still French though....

I have 1757 players for sale and I'm $25,835,360 in debt. Buy them at outrageous prices, or be selfish and make me go bankrupt. You decide, BB.

How does the fact that the country is made for the purpose of housing the second teams make a difference and make it "not matter" as much? The country's still going to be competitive, with different divisions, a tournament and a draft, so I really don't see what the problem is. The new country eliminates complications of foreigners taking over micronations and everything along those lines. As a new manager, I really like this idea and it'll definitely make me consider getting supporter.

First of all sorry for my english (it cost me a lot of time to write this post)

The problem is that Utopia country don't say me nothing. There are people who want to play in real countries for different reasons: familiar, ancestors, sentimental or romantic reasons, and yes i don't want to deceive you, to have the oportunity of win a first division title, but i think that this type of managers soon will jump from country to country.

"the complication..." is not a complication. This is an advantage for micronations, because i think that is more funny to play versus humans than versus bots, like several managers had said.

And i read in this thread several speechs about "foreigners invaders/take overs" and imo is very close to the xenophobic speech, and with this words i do NOT want to insult or make a flame post, but i think that the foreigner issue in this thread is something worrying. For example if i go to England i don't think so that i will disturb local managers when they talk about cricket in the forum division, perhaps i will learn.

Although i think that behind the idea of "foreigners takeovers" is the interest of some managers of micronatins to be quiet in his/her thrones of local-BB-cups preparing the only competition that they matter: the B3.

I think that is the only real reason

My reason to play with second team will be challenging my self. Try to get to the highest level and so on. Finland is quite small so I do not miss any micronations. My choice would have been the biggest and most competitive countries for second team.

Now when solution will be Utopia, I think that there will not be as many teams as in the biggest countries. I hope there will be much more teams than in Finland, but I'm afraid that Utopia will not grow as big as I would like. Good thing is that all managers are experienced so competition will be hard there

Another "problem" in creating new country "Utopia" is that if economy and division structure is based on current model, then those who are lucky and will get team directly from top level will get very huge financial advantage compared to those who will get team from lower divisions (tv, tickets, fan income). If you check early seasons from your own country, I think those teams who were directly in top league, they have dominated quite long time in new countries.... So how to motivate those managers who will get team e.g. from D IV.

Hopefully all teams are put into active divisions....meaning that lowest level will be fulfilled starting from n.1 then next 16 teams to n.2 and so on....not so that teams to lowest level are put into different divisions to fight against bots. Also relegations should be handled a bit differently.....

Call me cynical, but if any changes such as supporters having 2nd teams are to be introduced at the start of next season, then I believe that the powers to be will have by now, not only have already made up their minds as to what they plan to do for next season, but will also have started to do the behind the scenes work to make these changes happen.

I cant imagine that the work required to get these changes to happen, could be done in just a week or two
