Good win by The Blue Stars.
Blue Star inside domination! But wow, the difference effort makes... only -1 in rebounding (resp. vs. high) & it turned me into last season's Rice Eaters, lol. 22-5 offensive reb & 63-38 overall. Also pretty cool -- despite missing a ton of FT, Blue Stars still made as many FT as actual field goals.

A little surprised Offensive Flow didn't seem to matter though. respectable vs. mediocre... a full +2 difference. Yet basically even turnovers/steals, even with me having higher OD on top of it?? (just curious)

Good game. With the lineup I put forth in this game I was looking to gain a rebounding advantage but I knew it would be at the expense of both OD and Outside scoring. Something I was willing to risk as you are an inside team. The RB advantage was a lot larger than I expected and that probably had to do with the difference in effort. FT will be the death of this team at some point but I got lucky tonight.

Well it's just 1 guy that missed most of those FTs... take him out & it's not so bad. Nice job by your PG with 4 blocks too!

Oh right, forgot you never saw the Rice Eaters last season. They were an interesting team -- had 4 or 5 monster SGs, & zero inside. Think their *best* PF/C made at most $15k? So yeah, they had that kind of rebound margin against them every game. Though I remember they did manage to out-rebound The Contortionists 1 game! lol.

I never knew about rebounding till this season. Apparently it's a useful invention where you can get the ball when the other team misses a shot. WHO KNEW?

I'm more interested in Raleigh vs. UCR, Raleigh played FCP, only got 6 (!?) steals, actually committed MORE turnovers than UCR, added on TWENTY-SEVEN fouls, and somehow only lost by 10?! jeeeeez

Wow, bizarre. Didn't even notice the tactics til you pointed it out. Only 6 steals & 9 forced turnovers playing FCP -- insane! Was a 1 point game with 3 minutes left. Maybe a lot of those fouls were intentional?

So comparing Raleigh's last 2 games: both were on the road. They forced more turnovers playing M2M & rebounded slightly better playing FCP? (UCR had a higher rebounding rating than Swamp Donkeys did). UCR's had a lot of turnovers too -- 213. Doesn't make sense. (For reference I have 133). [& Blah saw I was actually 3rd overall in total rebounds prior to my last game.]

That game had me scratching my head as well, but life certainly does go on. I am so getting relegated this year unless things really turn around in the next few weeks.
