while I find it counter-intuitive to play with less than five players, the alternative is simply to keep the worst players you can find on your roster - then you get the bizarre situation of bidding on 1k salary players. Better to think of it as a PR exercise for your team where your fringe players mingle with the fans, on court.

is this 3 player feature also available in leagues and national tournaments??

if it is then pls remove it. official games and tournaments cant just pick fans as their players. its only ok for scrimmage.

yes it is, but i brings you "nothing" to use it, the lucky fans are really bad and i believe they also help the Engine running ... Because you are eligiable to play with just 2 player in real basketball, but i don't think the engine includes such 2 against 5 plays etc. so they bring up the lucky fans

Who are you to tell a team how many players they use?

NO ONE at this table ordered a rum & Coke
Charles: Penn has some good people
A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

He is zOrrO0530 one of many users of BB, and in a way he is right to say what he says. Btw. who has decided that three are allowed and no two? And why didn't they make the limit of regular numbers of players at 4 for a match to be legal? Or 5?

Older than the rest ...

I was able to ascertain this.

I'm going to go with the development team on this one.

For some game design reason, I presume, probably related to training.

I still haven't seen anyone give a concrete reason why playing with 3 players is a travesty.

Its no way you can play ball, a full court game, a 5 vs 5 game with only 3 starters... thats a forfeit... plain N simple... thats one thing that needs to be taken out of this game...

if you come with three players to a game, you are allowed to play it ;) Important is that you care that only one player gets injured or fouled out, because it becomes a forfeit when you have less then 2 players on the court.

+1 on the suggestion.

From what I've heard, you have to have at least 5-6 players to play a competitive league/cup/NT game... BB says that they use NBA rules and I'm not familiar with their rules...

Does NBA rules say that the minimum number of players should be at least 3? Also, if you lack players, should you get one from audiences? (Well, in scrimmage, you could play whoever you want, I have no problem with it).

If these two questions can be answered by "Yes", then, I guess we have to follow rules. Otherwise, then it's a problem that must be solved.

I don't see why I should have to play with more players as if today with 3 players against 12 in Greece (17597214) I lose with 99-98 (after they hit their last 2 shots with 3-pointers), we won the rebounds 47-32.... Who cares about what happens in a scrimmage, there is no audience anyway.
