Coach: Many managers recommend—with good reason—to rotate the training. One thing to remember when training "bigs" is one of the secondaries of rebound training is inside defense. On the other hand, inside defense does not train rebounding...

Yeap, but ID trains IS. Thats what happened to me today. My routine is:Train 1 skill until all 5 of my trainees get a pop up. Then next skill etc.

For the big men trainers. Dont forget to train JS some times. Its a very nice 2ndary to have and relative easy to train. Also it trains IS too. Actually when i have trained JS 1 of my players got double pop up. JS/IS

Buy a level 5 trainer. Everyone says that there is a big difference between level 4 and level 5. And, they also say that getting a level 6 or 7 trainer is great but not necessarily worth the money it will cost to get one.

The best value for money is still a level 4 trainer.

Level 6 and 7 are a waste of money.

Not many teams starting out can afford level 5 trainers. The difference between 4 and 5 is an extra 2-3 weeks worth of training a season so you're looking at an extra pop or 2 in skills. As demonstrated in other threads, 4 is still the best unless you have a massive training regime and all your players for that position are trainees

Thanks! I appreciate the advice as I'm new here also. The threads I read all suggested a level 5 trainer which costs me quite a bit (in salary but not in bidding as I bought an expensive trainer). But I'm glad to know it's not worth buying a level 6 or 7 trainer as I thought I'd need to do that soon as well. Since my trainer's salary has escalated to close to $50K per week, is it worth it to downgrade to a level 4 trainer and a cheaper salary?

Honestly you shouldn't be complaining. I have a Level 5 trainer and trained inside shot for 2 consecutive weeks with no pops ( Yes I know my trainees are 21 and 22 but at least). Its karma.

I say it is definitely worth it. It is costing you 50k a week for a lvl 5 trainer.

I got my lvl 4 trainer @ 11k a week with a sign on fee of 1k.

Now the question for you is that for the 2-3 extra weeks of training a season, is it worth an extra 35k-40k a week to you?? which over the course of a season amounts to almost half a million. Which you can better utilise and spend on an extra player.
