Well plugging those numbers into the salary calculator on the important threads page a player with those minumum skills will be on $80,553. The formula would have changed with the different salarys this season. But superstar will easily be enough to create a great SF.

Potential is more related to skills than salary.

So how would that work? Each potential has a limit on the total skills a player can have before training slows?

Not quite sure, but I think that's the closest statement to BB reality. If someone knows different then please post.

I think that for your idea of SF a smaller player 6'5 or 6'6 is the better choice

I just disagre that both defences should be the same,I think OD should be 2 levels above ID,that makes a smaller SF even better for trainig porpuses

and yes the potential is more related to skills,so I would advice you to dont let any skill go to higher, for example
train the JS up to 11 and balance your player, then finish the JS training

6'5". OK that's one information. What about these:
1. Age
2. Trainer
3. Number of training positions

and it he is already well developed
4. potential
5. current level of skills that you are training (high or low)

Now he is 20, lvl 4 trainer. last season he got 4 (2 ID 1IS,1 position training, one it was on OD), 1 training on JS, and the rest, it was 2 positions. Result? 2 pop ups only on ID/Rebs. His potential is allstar and he is far from reaching it. This season i will be able to give him more one position training as is my last season as a big men trainer.

Sorry, can't completely follow this. So far this info:

1. Height 6'5"
2. Age = 19 years (you say now he is 20 I suppose you're talking about last season training when he was 19, right?)
3. Trainer level = 4
4. Potential = allstar - not important for this analysis
5. Current level of skills that you are training - not important for this analysis
6. Training positions = different (some weeks one position, some weeks two) ...... need specification see below.

From the post I can't say I understood right. Do you say:

2 weeks of 48+ minutes/week ID training (one position)
1 week of 48+ minutes/week IS training (one position)?

Can you write a full training list cause it's really important for final judgement.

I am talking about foul training yes, and if i miss one (am not remember right now is just one), so you have understand it very well.

1 week OD 1 position 48+ min, and the rest except the PO weeks he got trained 2 positions on ID/Rebs

Well it that's the case, then I could say that your results are expected ones. But I agree. Not good results. I will try to experiment this season with 48+ minutes ID, IS and RB one position training for 18y-old 6'6" with trainer level 6 and I hopefully make a good conclusion from the data. If everything is as planned I will post the results in the "Training speed analysis thread" (if that thread is still active, of course).
