I don't know Jelme, I'll have to ask the guy who made it.
Jelme, what is my logo all about?

I don't know if I want to give up this competitive advantage but the matchup predictor is at (http://bb-usa.netsons.org/matchup/matchup2.php)

Pel's logo is actually a tatoo. I was looking for an "Eye or Ra" or some sort of all-seeing eye. Not stylized Kaji at all.

See my press release and all will be revealed. You yell "normal" everybody goes, "huh...what", but you yell "crunch time" and we got a panic on our hands on the fourth of July.

there's a fatal flaw in your account of what happened! i'll reply there.

but this wasn't about winning or losing. or my coach having a minor stroke. i achieved something far greater than victory. to quote my final paragraph:
Some say there *are* no moral victories. Those people are communists. Because this wasn't the type of thing you see every day. Or week. Or year. This was a once in a Will-enium occurrence. The Lethargy got jiggy with it. Period. End of story.

Want to know what I know that the rest of you dont? And that is... Nothing. I honestly havent tanked one game. Ok I take that back, after I was like 0-8 or something, I realized I was going to demote. So I tanked my game with south central so I can lock up #1 pick. Im going to be the Cav's this season. I dont really know why, but I have a solid group of guards, and what I noticed was that no matter what, in d.ii you cannot win with just guards. My centers are taking to long to train, so I figure one season in d.iii and ill be back stronger than ever. I hope.

for what its worth I made a huge mistake 4 seasons ago

i tanked, that was reasonable, i raised 10 mil.

i was sure prices would crash

a few idiots who happened to run the u20 and national team convinced me they wouldnt crash, some of the same d-bags who beat me in national elections when i cared about the game.

so i took that money bought fan hongjin a 6.5 million PF>

then the economy crashed. i havent really had the appetite for much since.

I hjave no money, no real room to promote, am hoping to turn a profit, and either barely stay afloat to do it again, or properly crash and cash out (thogh i hate selling original players for sentimental reasons)

though my luck, if i raise say 5 mil this time, to get to 5.7 mil or so, i will watch prices rise meteorically and watch that be unable for me to even buy a single player.

my trainings gone to hell, as my life at this put has put buzzerbeater WAYYYYYY on teh backburner (dhoff and i share a common sport, dhoff probably knows i am now captaining a legitimately decent team at that sport, maybe one of the top 100 in the country and thats a huge time drag on top of my job which has picked up bigtime in hours thanks to the market bounceback). still life is good, the game is still wildly imperfect but charming in its own way.

my wife groans when i come home at 8:30 and go anywhere near a computer after being on a computer all day at work (but not doing anything fun i promise you), so my lineup setting has been restricted too. we will see what happens.

last season my auto lineup was unstoppable, when i tried doing anything cute i usually got crushed, my instincts and spreadsheets that jelme and others have seen are in the virtual dustbin by now, since i have a new computer and havent pulled them out, havent analyzed an opponent once all year, just putting in the absolute minimum. i have no edge over any of you and right now every single one of you is a better manager than me.

thats ok thjough, my life is in a very good place at the moment, and i will do what i can to keep my bb team around should some tragic circumstance give me lots more free time suddenly, but im not even doing fantasy baseball this year and i love that sport. only did one fantasy football league only because it was the 11th year or so of a keeper league i have beeen in all 11 years with some college buddies. its weird the things you thought youd do for ever and suddenly dont care about.

@Riceeaters
Dude, your team is good. I have no explaination for whats going on over there.

@tUG
Are you talking about Hattrick? I've tried to get into that game twice and I can't figure out how some things work or a good way to research how they do work. Maybe I need to talk to you or dhoff about mentoring me over there. =D

I'm sad you've lost some interest in this game, and more so because of misguided advice. Blowing up your team was the right thing to do I believe, but you had the misfortune of bad timing and I think probably made some bad purchases. There are ways to get your team moving in a positive manner again instead of being stagnant but its a boring road. Demotion to III hurts and promoting back to II on autopromote (you were one of those teams last season as well, right) doesn't rebound season ticket holders nearly as fast. I know some of your pain.

Seriously though, if you help me out with hattrick it would be cool.=D

ive put my hattrick team into a deep freeze more so than here even

i had a very good run in hattrick, at one point late in a season being in the top 10 teams in the country but that's a mature game, and you really have to time your run and hope to keep getting a little lucky before your team gets too old and too expensive for its division.

they keep changing the economy there too.

I was actually talking about an outdoor sport

With that said this week is crazy, i play in a BB-level volleybball league that runs till 11, on a pretty good open soccer team for indoor that could run till 12 (though i bail on any games starting at 11), and work till 8:00 most nights, leaving for work now so you can do the math. though those sports are more just to cross train, and to be able to play without too many outside burdens on me that are team related.

and oh yeah buzzer beater is blocked at work, and after i broke my iphone im using a fairly ancient i phone 3 that is really unfriendly to setting lineups.

it's ok though, it's a trade i'd make every time.
