No-one agrees with how useful the box score is although some swear by it for free throws and fouls. I value it so little to tell the truth I haven't even bothered to look at it this season.

It really shouldn't be there, for new players it is definately a thing you would trust if you didnt know any better. Maybe an official description of what a box score tells you or what it might represent would be good.

I'm not sure what sucks. That 5 star 5 potential 18 yr old looks awesome.

To thread starter. I personally would definately not place the 3 ball potential at the top. If he's all star potential it's cool, but there's the risk that he's lower than that and that really hurts his value. Further I prefer the 18 yr old with 4 ball potential of course.

Whether the 19 yr old or the 3 ball potential 18 yr old is better is up to you. Do you want to risk a potential below all star, but at the same time be sure of an 18yr old? Hard choice.

Joining late in the season, I've only been able to uncover a few players for the upcoming draft. I should have the first pick overall. Which player is the better pick?

One guy is 19 years old, 5 star rating, 4 star potential. One is an 18 year old. 4 star rating, 4 star potential. A 3rd is an 18 year old with 5 star rating, 3 star potential.

In what order would everyone rate these players?

I also now also have a 5 star rating, 2 star potential 18 year old PG with an 'A' grade. And he shows by far the best stat line of the 8 or so players that I can see.

Does the low potential kill him as a decent prospect?

yes. 2 star potential is too bad if you ask me.

Is a 5 star 2 potential good enough for a second pick and trained as a 4th or 5th trainee for a Div 4 team?
