They don't have to sell them.

So you are assuming that every new team has all the players they will ever need and will not have to ever have to buy anyone. You must be playing a different game from me.

No, I am assuming nothing. I am very simply stating that these teams do not have to sell their draft picks. They can keep them as long as they'd like. They are not at a disadvantage to have national team players, if anything it is an advantage.

If small country teams trained their players they could make tons of money. They could possibly have 6 players on NT and U21 teams. They could also save lots of money because most in the country are new managers.

It's also based, as I understand it, on the strength of the nation's teams and how many minutes the player plays

my understanding is that if it is your draft, you get higher merchandising if he makes the NT team too.

Tho I've never actually seen any research or figured to support this.

Just like I've never seen any research to approve or disprove that high PR staff equates to an increase in merchandising.

I'm 'kiasu' (a local reference to an attitude of taking not wanting to lose out in a good deal to an extreme) so I'm using an advanced PR staff member just in case.

For all i know his salary might be costing me more than the revenue he's bringing me!
